these are tough and gamey tasting compared to the 2 along with t-bone. I would not recommend even on a budget ....hamburger is better , I guess that's why it was invented because the nonpremium cuts of beef just aren't very good.

The Sam's Club butchers were very helpful in recommending it to me at the sale price of less than 10 dollars a pound on that special day! Was yum-yum good!

Too much fatty pieces on the underside of packaged meats. These were super tough with grisly fat. I don’t recommend these nor will I ever purchase them again.

I cooked only three of these and barely got any lean beef out of any of them. The beef I did get was anything but tender. As others have said the beef is tough and I found myself chewing it excessively. The fat is prominent in these as well as I threw the last one out since after trimming the fat there was barely anything left.

I had already placed my order before reading another's "I should've gone in and chosen my own" comment, but I certainly understand now. There really was nothing positive about this meat: The thickness of the slices were nowhere near equal; so much gristle I probably discarded a third of the meat; no flavor. Extremely disappointed with this purchase!

Tender and delicious - cooked it in the crockpot with just a little butter and water, salted before serving. Perfect for the carnivore diet.

These steaks are certainly good value for the price. The Prime NY Strips are so much better though for a few dollars more per pound.

Much gristle, and packaged with marble showing but fat and gristle hidden on bottom.

I bought this about a month ago. The flavor was good but very TOUGH. I won't buy them again.
