I purchased a package of 4 of the prime sirloin steaks that all appeared fine in the package. But when I opened that package and flipped them over, one looked suspect. After grilling, the suspect steak was 80% grissle and had to be discarded uneaten. This is unacceptable for prime grade steak.

First time I’ve tried Sam’s Prime Sirloin steak. I used a simple marinade of oil and seasonings. Using a cast iron skillet, the steaks were cooked for no more than 7 minutes. The centers were pink, just like we like them. The meat was so chewy and most of it not edible. I’m sticking with the prime ribeye and beef filets from now on. I still have one to cook and I think I am going to give it a darn good pounding to tenderize it before placing it in the skillet.

Very little fat if any. A little gristle. Very tender and tasty.

Better than any cut of choice beef. Cook to medium rare for best results.

I would have preferred more marbling for a more tender steak

Bought these a few weeks ago and they were unedible. There was so much gristle in them you could not chew them up. I would not recommend these sirloins.

I bought these steaks on a random occasion and simply cooked them at home. They turned out so much better than I expected. I WILL buy these again. Decent price too!

Depends on what you’re using it for. Used some for stir fry and it was fine. Pam seared one, it was horrible. 1/3 of steak inedible. I questioned the “prime” rating when I bought it. I’m thinking there is no such thing a premium, prime sirloin. Buy “choice “ at your grocery store.

I purchased these Saturday. I figured two per meal for just two people. Wrong! These were so large I’m able to get one meal for the two of us from one steak! They are thicker than what Walmart sells so they need to be cooked slower on the grill at a lower temperature. They were absolutely delicious. I’m purchasing more, cutting them in half, and freezing two Each in the new half gallon baggies. I’m glad I made this purchase.
