[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had thought dishwashers were all about the same till I installed this one. This dishwasher is by far the quietest dishwasher I have owned. My old dishwasher we would wait till we went to bed at night so that while we were watching tv in our living room we would be able to hear the tv. This dishwasher you can barely hear it running when you’re in the same room. The dishes come out so much cleaner than our previous dishwasher. A lot of the time before we found ourselves pre rinsing or washing some of the dishes before we put them in. This dishwasher we put dishes covered in tomato sauce, baked on cheese and the dishes come out like new., sparkling clean. The dishes come out so dry , I think the fact that the door pops open to let the steam out and the air to circulate helps them dry and the glasses come out without spots. Since we have the Samsung fridge, range and microwave this pairs so nicely with them.

I purchased this "whisper quiet" and "so quiet you won't even know it's on" dishwasher in June of this year when we moved into our new home. Immediately I discovered that I could clearly hear the dishwasher, in fact I would even describe it as relatively loud. It is rated at 42 dBA, and my meter ratings had it pulsing as high as 63 dBA. It took awhile for me to get to arranging service as we had just moved in and had so much to do. When the Samsung repair people arrived, they had no concept of how loud it was supposed to be and told me that the machine was operating properly even though they themselves did a decibel measure that pulsed to 63 dBA. They called Samsung technical support who claimed -- out of the blue -- that the reading needed to be done TEN feet away from the machine. That reading STILL pulsed to the 50s, and Samsung tech support said that was within acceptable range. So quite frankly, I have no idea what the "42 dBA" advertised for this machine means. We have an open concept kitchen and purchased this dishwasher so that it could run while we were eating and we wouldn't hear it, which, as is clear by now, is absolutely not the case. I've attempted to continue to pursue my issue with Samsung. After my service appointment, I called in and I was given a claim number and told that I would be contacted within 24 to 48 hours. No one called me. I called myself a week later and was told that my claim was cancelled as the service techs deemed there was "nothing wrong" with my machine, despite the meter readings they themselves did. I asked to be elevated to a supervisor and I am now awaiting that callback, if it ever happens. It's an absolute clown show. I am a GIANT Samsung customer -- I've purchased MULTIPLE phones, watches, dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, refrigerators -- EVERYTHING. I am normally very happy with their products and customer service, but they've absolutely browned the bed on this one. If you are expecting a machine that you "won't know it's on," DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I can't overstate the degree to which the product, and the subsequent service/support, has utterly failed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm at that point in life where I've lived in a bunch of places, owned and replaced more than a few appliances, and so I've come to value quality and reliability. Now, I haven't owned this dishwasher long enough to comment on reliability, but I can say it is very high quality. It replaced a Samsung model we had and the updates are apparent. This dishwasher has plenty of room and easy to adjust height of the middle rack to allow more room on the lower rack if needed. It runs so quiet that you will not know it is operating. If you owned a dishwasher from 10 or more years ago, you know how loud they used to be. This model has a stainless steel interior, and controls along the top of the door. I really like the handle in front as that keeps fingerprints off the front! The best thing about it is how good a job it does washing AND drying your dishes. I haven't had any dishes come out where I've had to go back and wash by hand. The plastic cups we have are almost dry after a cycle whereas in the old dishwasher they would still be wet. The filter is easy to access and clean. I love this dishwasher and look forward to using it for years!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a major upgrade for us, this dishwasher is incredibly quiet compared to our old one. The drying feature works amazing, and the additional top silverware tray makes sorting and seeing everythibg cane clean so much easier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The brains of this dishwasher make it easy to use for anyone. Have a young child who's enthusiastic about helping to clean up? You can let them load the dishwasher, while you choose the settings remotely, so all they have to do is close it. You'll get notifications when it's done. Install was quick and easy, with no issues whatsoever, and it does a great job cleaning even when I'm being lazy. All that and it's a great-looking addition to any kitchen.

Not only is the Samsung dishwasher more efficient in every way but it is super quiet. I would recommend it to anyone that needs a new dishwasher.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace another Samsung dishwasher that was 8 months old (it was a flush mount model which kept cracking). This model is a bit louder than the previous model and the racks feel a bit loose when pulling them out or pushing them back in. It does do a good job cleaning the dishes and overall I am satisfied with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a huge upgrade from our previous builder-grade Whirlpool dishwasher for many reasons. First off, the fingerprint-resistant finish should hold up much better than the stainless steel finish. The old dishwasher's finish was corroding and could no longer be cleaned to look nice. This dishwasher is much quieter, and dries the dishes so much better. The washing cycles seem to take longer than the Whirlpool, but that may just be the way newer dishwashers are. The only thing I miss is the utensil basket in the door. It was easier to just open the door a crack and drop a spoon in there. The upside with this one is the third rack for utensils, though it isn't tall enough to allow for very big serving utensils.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm surprised with how well this dishwasher cleans, but that's not surprising given Samsung's reputation for high-quality products. In fact, Samsung has taken over my entire kitchen. The dishwasher runs quietly at 42 decibels, so it doesn't interfere with our television viewing. It has a considerably larger capacity inside than my previous one, so we don't have to run as often (have a household of 4). The third rack can be used to store silverware or Tupperware lids, freeing up space on the bottom rack for plates. I wish there was a bit more place on this rack for little bowls. The center rack can be adjusted up or down to accommodate taller objects. Although we try to semi-clean the dishes before we put them in, it has a Stormwash mode that cleans even the toughest of crusted food particles on the plate. The center rack can be adjusted to fit taller objects. It works well with wine glasses, water bottles, and coffee mugs. Every time, the dishes and glassware are pristine. It boasts a clever energy-saving mechanism that helps dry the dishwasher by opening it allowing them to air dry.

Unbelievably bad product. Had to have Samsung come out three times. Still having issues because it's so badly made. Soap dispenser doesn't open, leg is broken, top rack broke, bottom rack broke, and now they are saying these are not covered under warranty.
