I bought this fridge 2 years ago and it does not live up to the price. Pro: looks great and is a clean design, resistant to finger prints. CONS: the items at the back of the shelves in the fridge freeze, a door bin broken just after warranty ended, the ice maker leaks water out the chute in the door and then freezes up solid. its impossible to find item numbers for replacement parts and they are very expensive if you do. Buy a different fridge if you want it to last.

The cooling settings automatically set themselves so all I did was hook water to it and plug it in. The fridge is a little bigger than I originally thought so make sure it will fit when ordering. Otherwise the fridge is awesome. Love the stainless steel!

Not so good. Remember latest does not mean the Best..... While I like Samsung as a brand, I think buying this refrigerator was not the best decision. I liked the slick exterior design and simple shelf arrangement. But Samsung disregarded several basic features. So many people have mentioned the poor lighting. It is definitely an issue…it is definitely an issue. If the refrigerator is empty (90 to 100%), then you won’t notice the poor lighting. But once shelves are filled 40 to 50%, you won’t see the stuff on the shelf. Poor lighting design and cost cutting measure by Samsung. I am thinking to buy a separate LED light and install it myself. How and When? I don’t know. It is on my list. 2nd annoying thing is dripping water from outlet. This is definitely a flaw in this refrigerator. After you take out the water, there is at least one or two drops of water in the tray. I keep a paper towel in the tray every day to soak the water. 3rd annoying thing- Ice outlet is just too big. It gives you ice everywhere (including on the kitchen floor) except the cup. It just throws ice cubes or pieces everywhere. Every time you have to clean up the floor when you take ice out. My expectations are basic. Aren’t they? Am I asking too much?

We’ve had this fridge for a little over a year. It’s a good fit for our kitchen. We did have to replace the ice maker less than a year into owning it. We’ve not had any issues since. Theres a signal when you need to replace the water filter which is really nice.

fridge is marketed "stainless steel" but that must be the color, not material of the doors which have some ultra-soft coating that scratches/dents super easy. our kids have toys with plastic on outside & a magnet inside. simply placing these on fridge was enough to leave scratches all over with no way to remove. how does plastic scratch steel? and my wife barely bumped fridge while setting a plate on top and it immediately left a permanent dent super visible due to the shiny surface. fridge isn't made to withstand normal life use. also they shrinkwrapped plastic around all the parts before assembling them - we spent hours trying to peel off tiny bits of plastic wrap from every crevice. within weeks the ice maker failed which techs had to come out and fix. very disappointed with this.

I thought the ice maker on my old 2008 refrigerator was bad, but this one is very noisy both while making ice and also dispensing it. The ice maker also gives me crushed ice in half my glass when I have it on "cubes" dispensing. Also, there is NO LIGHT where the water and ice are dispensed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this in the summer and it great especially for the price. Lots of storage and space on the inside. 2 things I would change. The spout the water comes out is small so you have to make sure you get your bottles in the right spot or you will miss the container. Next there is no light where the water comes out so at night you cannot see.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I love this refrigerator. I love how much space we have in both the fridge and in the freezer. Our previous refrigerator was about the same size, but it lacked the functional design that this refrigerator has. I'm so happy that I can actually place our drinks in the upward position. I love the features on this model. I can adjust the freezer and fridge to a specific temperature, lock the settings, turn off the ice maker if I chose to and set an open door alarm. I have to say that my favorite feature is the ice maker because I can have crushed it! The evenness of the cooling throughout the fridge is perfect and it is well lit. We also love that it comes with a ten year warranty and it is easy to clean. We are glad we made this purchase.

This is the second Samsung I have owned that the compressor went out after only a couple of years. The current one is less than two years old and the replacement parts aren't available anymore so I have to replace it. Very disappointing because it was actually a nice refrigerator.

This has been the worse refrigerator I have ever purchased. It freezes everything in the back of the refrigerator. I have had to throw out so much food because of it. Frozen eggs, lettuce, and yogurt. All of the side door plastic shelves are cracked and broken. This is not a good fridge to buy. What a waste of money!!
