[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We're thrilled with our new 27.4 cu. ft. large capacity side-by-side refrigerator in stainless steel! It has a sleek, modern design that looks amazing the kitchen. The storage capacity is impressive; it easily fits all the groceries, and the adjustable shelves make organizing a breeze. The temperature control keeps everything fresh, and we love the convenient ice and water dispenser. It runs quietly, too! This fridge is both stylish and functional—highly recommended!
Great Refrigerator
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the most spacious refrigerator I have purchased it holds all liters and gallons in the door. The inside shelves have great spacing and depth for multiple items and leftovers still in pots or pans. The freeze side has an icemaker built-in the door which gives you more space for freezing meats and frozen foods.
Disappointing quality. Another unhappy owner
We have had this refrigerator-freezer for a year and a half and the freezer is quitting on us. Like others here, we have many other Samsung electronics and rave about them. We expected similar quality from their appliances and this item is a dud. Right now the freezer only maintains 20deg (F) - frige is OK for now, so, we are moving everything to another freezer (older, different brand - works great). I have other refrigeration and freezing appliances that are 20 and 30-years old that never gave us a problem. Given current technologies, why can't Samsung build and sell something with similar quality?

Ice Maker is the worst.
the ice maker on this model was absolutely the slowest when new (twice daily). slowly became worse and has finally stopped. it will fill and freeze but just stop dropping. a counter top ice maker will be less expensive than a service call and i can't find a schematic online.
I aplogize for the inconvenince this has caused you. I'm sure defrosting your ice maker could be a huge pain to deal with. We do recommend contacting a service repair, but if you are looking for schematics of the unit. You may be able to find them by visiting Samsungparts.com. ^Pat
Changing Filter is Not EASY!
Changing the filter in this refrigerator is a nightmare. You have to pull it out from the wall to turn the water off at the source. Pulling it out straight will work if two people are pulling. Pushing it sideways to get behind the refrigerator is difficult. The rollers don't work well unless they are coming out straight from the wall. Do not attempt to pull the filter out without turning the water off, water will gush out everywhere. (It is not like my GE refrigerator was to change the filter). The freezer section is very narrow and a pizza box will not fit. I would not have bought this refrigerator if I had known the filter was so difficult to change.

Won't last past 2 years
Lasted a little over the one year warranty. Ice maker is very loud. If you choose crushed ice it will be crushed the next few time you use it even if you switch setting. Leaking all over my floor. Freezer and fridge part won't cool now. Have scheduled a repair for tomorrow. I love my washer and dryer but have read that these problems are a common issue with this fridge.

More space. No adjustable shelves. Ice maker too s
I bought this about 2 weeks ago. It is definitely has more space than our previous side by side. The ice maker is too small for my liking. Now I have to take up room in my freezer with icecube trays. I don't like the fact you cannot adjust the shelves. I make a lot of cold brew French press coffee and there is no room for my French press.

Failed 3 wks out of warranty
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Failed, one year and 3 weeks out of warranty. Fridge is up to 52deg and freezer is 38. Lost mostly everything and supposedly new control board is on way. Been down for over 10 days now still waiting on Samsung repairman and new part. Previous Samsung lasted 4 years and 3 months. Do not recommend.

I did not like at all.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the refrigerator 2 months ago, and came damage it from inside. Came with a lot small holes.. When I tried to exchanged Samsung r. told me; I should returned between the 14 days period. I was not aware of that't. After that, I contacted the warranty that I bought it, from them, and they told me they cannot help me, only after 1 year of purchase. So at the ended ending with a damage appliance.
I apologize for the unfortunate experience. I wish there was more we could do, however, this would be a retailer concern. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this in the summer and it great especially for the price. Lots of storage and space on the inside. 2 things I would change. The spout the water comes out is small so you have to make sure you get your bottles in the right spot or you will miss the container. Next there is no light where the water comes out so at night you cannot see.
