great generator for the price, easy to assemble.

Never owned a generator before and we lost power for 5 days during an ice storm. Was told this was a good brand and was at a reasonable price! Never had any issues during my power outage after this purchase. Easy to use, remote start from my home, and dual fuel helped with our options. Would highly recommend!!

I purchased this as a dual fuel with the intent to have a permanent quick connect for propane outside of my home and an outlet to plug it into to run the house. Open the box it was very easy to assemble just basically putting the wheels and a few other pieces on. I'm impressed it included the propane hose and regulator oil or remote control etc I hooked it up to propane as directed and cranked it over and it started instantly and ran perfectly. This is the perfect in between a permanent standby generator in a smaller portable generator.

I have used this generator for five years. It handles loads as per its guidelines. It starts easily and dependably. I have used this to run large floor sanders and to backup a residential solar system. The only reason I give this four versus five stars is because the fuel solenoid is electric, requiring 12 volts. Accordingly, the pull start will not bail you out should your battery give out. If you don't have 12 volts going into the solenoid, then the generator will not run on gasoline (it still will run on propane). The unit should be designed to run without the battery and using the pull start.

I have had this unit for 5 or 6 years now. Twice now the city power has been went out for more than two days. This unit has been a blessing, I runs for just over 12 hours on a full tank of gas. It is the perfect whole house power supply unit. I never need to shut off any breakers, only need to disconnect city power for others safety. I also purchased a 50 foot 50amp cable (the cable has a diameter of 1 1/8").

I have 3 of these Generators one in Florida for the hurricane storm damages we had. One at my main house but only runs on propane as the carburetor has gone bad. I just bought this one and used it due to ice storms. My complaint is minor but being new is irritating. When I turned of the gas the on/off leaks in the off position.

I recently purchased the 9500 dual fuel. We went from a 6500 , which was an awesome product. However, this 9500 is just the step up we needed. We have had more than our normal share of power outages this winter into fall , 3 days after our purchase we used the generator for several hours. The few hours were a good break in period. The performance was just what we expected, and more. I stand behind your product 100 percent FYI our 6500 is has gone to my sister who loves having the security of your product as well.

Problem with the new generator, but a bigger problem is Westinghouse staff that was disrespectful, rude and arrogant. I am returning the generator.

The Generator came well packed it was very easy to assemble Great value love the dual fuel option I really like the remote start and how easy it is to move I did not have a chance to use it yet but when. I do I will leave. Another review

The WGen 9500DF is a beast of a machine with dual Fuel. Unpacked with the wheels on it's actually easy getting it around for me 79 year young lady. I will like using the bottles of propane to run it. Not used yet!
