I bought this to protect against another power outage in Texas because of some greedy politicians and business entities. I ran the generator for about 1/2 hour using my propane tank so that it would not have gasoline marinating in the pipes for an unknown period of time. The motor started up quickly and the little beast roared to life. I plugged in a few items to see how it would run and it performed flawlessly, granted that it was only small tools. I am going to get a transfer switch attached to the house soon so that we can run the power to our furnace and other large items. I do and I do not look forward to using this generator, a seemingly necessary item to compensate for an unreliable power grid.

This generator is well designed and constructed, This is a complete package with all needed to startup. Even assembly tools were provided. I love the duel fueling option, which represents a true backup for various situations that may inhibit getting energy needed.

Not sure how well the generator works, or how long it last. Not sure of any issues either. It's perty, has a lot of buttons and it makes me feel good to have in it case of emergency, if that counts. Really, I get a free cover for reviewing it and I'd like to have that before I put it outside, so yeah. I'll write another review after using it... to be cont'd

I’ve run this generator through its paces, including different loads and switching fuels in midstream. It’s responsive. It’s easy to start on either fuel. It switches smoothly between fuels while running. I couldn’t ask for anything better I believe.

I purchased this unit 3 weeks ago and finally tried it out today getting ready for any bad Florida weather coming my way. Followed the precise instructions to assemble and put in oil and fuel (used gas) connected the battery turned on switch and hit the start button and it started right up and connected power and worked great. Such a nice unit and even has remote start available. Will try a propane later , but know the unit starts up great and performs as advertized. Wow thanks Westinghouse for a great unit.
