I bought for backup electrical power. Had my house wired up to receive load directly to main service panel. I conducted my first operational test and the generator worked flawlessly. I calculated the load to run in accordance with the break in period in the owners manual. The generator itself is very aesthetically pleasing. The operating panel is not too busy, very well oriented, and labeled very well. There is no doubt about what button does what. The owners manual is very well written in plain simple language, anyone, especially engineers [ I am an electrical engineer], can read. Additionally, I appreciate the regular maintenance checklist Westinghouse provided. No need to write one out yourself, Westinghouse did this for you. I chose the dual fuel generator. Due to where i live the tri fuel didnt make sense for me. Gas and propane is plenty. Even the lower propane running watts is plenty. The two fuels allows me to comfortably have 2 weeks of fuel on hand with my current storage. Additionally, Westinghouse has your safety in mind. The unit was very well labeled with caution tags. Warnings and cautions are also very easy to see in the owners manual.

I bought this Generator to feed my entire house. It has more than enough power to feed everything I need. Also a big deciding factor for us was the remote start! We love the remote start because my wife is Pregnant and we have a puppy and she cannot go outside to start it if I’m not around. Now she can be in the house and start it and stop it if need be. Wanted a dual fuel generator to hook up to the house, looked at another brand but bought the 9500DFc generator after reading reviews. Like the features and ease of use, other brand didn't have the outlet covers or gas gauge. Easy to install feet and wheels, will fill the oil and run for break-in in the next few weeks.

I bought my generator, after having several power outages this summer. I opened up the box, followed the simple startup and assembly instructions, and it started up with the remote on the first try and ran perfect!. It only took me a few minutes to put wheels on. This is the only assembly. Other than that, it was ready to use out of the box. The instruction manual was written well and easy to understand. I am very happy so far. Our Westinghouse WGen9500DF arrived 5 days sooner than scheduled, zero damage to the box or products inside. Followed the instructions to the letter and everything worked exactly as advertised. Seems to be a nice well built unit and is very simple to assemble and operate. Having three different options for starting is a major plus and the key fob works great! This generator is surprizingly quieter than expected and appears that it will be easy to service when needed. Ran it on gas and propane without any issues. The fold away handle seems strong and ergonomically positioned and was able to move the unit with ease. The metal fuel tank and roll cage are solid and the fuel gauge is large and clear.

Mostly assembled - easy to unpack and set up without assistance. Included all accessories to get it running, including tools, battery charger, oil and a funnel. Dual fuel feature is very helpful in providing an alternative fuel source. Electric start, including remote, makes starting the generator very easy. Panel is easy to read. Seems extremely well made.
