Just bought this after my last generator (Honda Black Max 7,000 watt) died after only 70 hours use.This Westinghouse 9500DF has all the features Im looking for and great reviews. Haven't used yet but the peace of mind knowing we're gonna be protected is invaluable.

We live rural in MI. Storms have been bad this year. We ordered this generator on the advise of our electrician installing a transfer switch for us. Glad we did. Right out of the crate it started up and then ran for several days while power was out. No problems

Just purchased this WGen9500DFc for camping and backup power at home. Removed from box and assembled what little there was to assemble it. Great looking generator and seems to be quality built. I haven’t ran it yet but will soon. If I find any negatives I’ll report back so if there are no edits then it’s safe to say it’s working great for me.

Easy to follow instructions and very little assembly needed. It started right away, and switched from gas to propane with just a little hesitation. Had to buy extra engine oil to bring it up to required level. Would be nice if they included a larger oil bottle. It appears to be well built. I bought it for emergency power during one of our Florida hurricanes and may connect it directly to the house in the future.

Bought this generator to eventually run our entire tiny home. Love the remote start/stop feature. Had to use it due to a power outage in the first two weeks of buying it. It was exactly what we needed and did a great job with no issues. Love this generator!

We've been looking for a generator and decided this would be the best one for us. We got a great deal and when our electrician came to set up the generator hook up for us was very impressed as the generator we had bought and the price we had got it for. This powered right up and will serve us well the next time we loose power.

Bought this generator to hook up to our house during hurricane season, was highly recommended by our electrician. The duel fuel feature is great, using either propane or gasoline. And it's easy to use with a push button electric start. Great generator to help in time of need.

I have owned several generators in the past (I'm 75 yrs old) and never had a problem. Down here in Louisiana with yearly hurricanes we lose power a lot. Almost ruined this one because the instructions about the oil is confusing. First. the unit has a yellow dip stick so when you put in new oil, which is yellow it is nearly impossible to see the oil level. Second,.the oil fill lays at a horizontal angle, (unlike a car which if a vertical fill tube) . so it is hard to fill and hard to read the level on the dipstick and very easy to overfill. Third, they give you a 1 quart can of oil but don't tell you how much it takes when you first fill it up. But low oil was the problem when I almost ruined my generator. At the start I put oil in and added more and kept checking the dipstick then I thought it was full. So I started it and it ran for just about 1 hour and shut off. I tried many times over several days and it would run for only a few minutes or not start at all. I called Westinghouse about one of their service centers. Anyway, after about 10 days I reread the manual and began all over again. Ultimately, when I had rechecked everything I found that the oil level was now showing LOW so I added more oil, almost the whole quart and it finally started and ran fine for 2 hrs until I shut it off. Reading the manual for the 15th time I finally saw where it says under the troubleshooting info, " low oil shut down switch is preventing the unit from starting". This switch must be located internally in either the engine or the crankcase not anywhere that you can see it!!! This i believe was my problem and I sure hope I have not ruined my brand new generator, especially with another hurricane coming!!!!

I bought this Westinghouse 9500 kw unit to upgrade from my old 4000 kw. Took me about 15 minutes to set it up. Nice features and design. Owners manual well written. I am just going through some break-in cycles now with moderate loads. Runs smooth and less noisy than than my old 4K model. Love the dual fuel option. started up right away with the push of a button. Getting electrical work done to the house now to use the 50 amp. Will be giving it a full test run in a few weeks, but so far I am very impressed with this generator.

Really like this product. Great features include that is dual fuel, has a fold away handle, CO monitor for safety, easy directions, and the ability to charge battery for remote start while the generator is running. I can be up to 99ft. away (in my house) and start the generator on my porch.
