I bought to have portable power around the ranch for welding and rock hammering/drilling equipment. Starts up easily. I like the duel fuel option. Propane is nice so that gas does not sit to long in the equipment. Rides well in the back of my Kawasaki Mule.

I bought this generator in late June , because I had a very bad feeling about getting a bad storm this summer. Anyway, hurricane Milton hit and I live in an area where Milton hit the hardest. We had no power for 3 days This Westinghouse generator powered my entire house including the central A C !! We had to shelter in place, because my mom has severe dementia and any public shelter would have killed her. This generator ran over 72 hours constant. Its a life saver, bottom line....

The WestGen9500DF was very easy to assemble. It was also at our location a day prior. I have not fired it up yet however, it is made in the US of America and I'm excited of that and not supporting the China. The Gen looks great! I will write another review when I test run it. Recently purchased as an upgrade to my iGen2200 to better power our whole house and while 7500 watts would have been suitable I was able to purchase this 9500 watt version around the same price so it was an easy decision. Just a great all around machine. Fuel options, power out options, starting options, monitoring options, etc. Heavy but moves easily with large wheels and a well placed handle. A bit louder that I expected, but typical of the breed, and wish there was an easier option for an exhaust extension for running inside the garage for security purposes and for the neighbors sake with the exhaust noise. No knock on the unit itself, just things I'd prefer. All in all I am very happy with this one.

I bought this just in time before hurricane season really gets busy down here in South TEXAS. It exceeded expectations and powered the major components needed (AC, sump pump, refrigerator, lighting) when we do have any power outage for an extended period of time. I feel much more at ease knowing this generator will handle what we need in an emergency situation.

I have been shopping for a generator for a couple of months and I am happy I purchased the WGen9500DF Generator. I required a 50-amp plug, a 3-year warranty, dual fuel option, a ground port, and wireless start. It came with everything to get it running, oil and a charged battery. With 9,500 running watts it should power everything in our house. I am looking forward to trying it out.

We just got our generator and it was super easy to set up and start. We are still exploring the features, but so far we have been impressed with the remote start, duel fuel, and handle for moving it. It started quickly and was quieter than you might expect for such a large unit.

I bought this a few days ago and I am pleased with the purchase. This particular generator was recommended by a few people I talked too. I also had an electrician install an inlet box so I could connect it straight to the breaker. Definitely feel prepared for any future power outage.

They have have been doing a lot of power line rerouting in our area and there are many days that the power will be off for several hours while they are working. We got this generator to plug into our homes 50 amp inlet to breaker box as a whole home backup. This has not only powered our 3.5 ton AC, but also many lights, fridge, freezer, wifi and computers. The wireless remote start is also a much appreciated bonus. We love this thing.

I had been wanting a dual fuel generator for a while and decided to upgrade from our old gas one. Man, am I glad we did. I absolutely love this thing.
