I am a user manual reader, this the best manual I have seen in a very long time. Easy to understand instructions with good pictures to reference. Most of the unit is pre assembled, just got to add the wheels and the front legs, and connect the battery ( which already charged). Filled my unit with the provided engine oil and added some gas to the tank. I rotated the engine a couple of times to lubricant the engine. I opened the fuel valve, hit the remote starter fob and it started right up, plugged in a couple fans and an electric heater and had no problems. I am waiting for the 30amp to arrive and I will have a certified electrician install it with a new breaker generator interlock. The 9500 is big enough to run my whole house besides the 220 v stuff. It is about as loud as I expected and I will be building sound box for my wife and neighbors.

I bought this generator a month ago and it sure came in mighty handy . When I had a tree come down and ripped the service power lines off of my house. It took almost a week to get the mess cleaned up and my power lines reconnected to my house. If not for my Westinghouse generator a lot of food would have spoiled. Not to mention things would have been pretty uncomfortable...

Started right up and able to run our 5-ton air conditioner and other electrical items through the transfer switch in our house. Although heavy, it is well balanced over the wheels and easily moveable. I appreciate the waterproof covers over the outlets. Highly recommend.

Finally broke down and got a 50 amp whole house plug installed on my electrical panel and my existing generator could only put out 30amp and not nearly enough wattage. This bad boy can easily power my entire home running our normal stuff, including a 5 ton central a/c unit. Started right up via the electric start the first time and ran smooth. Things to note: Only use the included oil for the first fill as its needed to help break in the engine for the first 5 hours. Also not supposed to run it above 50% load for the first 5 hours too.

I bought this a little over a month ago and already had a chance to use it. This thing is so well-built and the features are phenomenal. It’s the easiest generator I’ve ever used with regards to starting it as the key fob is so convenient. I was able to run All the important items in my house when the power went out and probably still could have turned a few more on. This machine is a beast and I would highly recommend. The handles and wheels make it very easy to move around despite how heavy the generator really is.

After arriving 2 days early, the set-up out of the box was a breeze. Started right up, using key fob, push button start and recoil handle. It also seems quieter than expected. Have not run it under a load yet, but it appears that it will work as designed.

I bought this Model #WGEN9500DFC westing house Generator that arrived in perfect condition. It was easy to setup and I found a post card that said I could get a Bonus Gift which is a cover for the generator if I filled out a review. Well The generator is a beast! I'm very relieved having this generator living in Florida with all the hurricanes and power outages. Good Purchase.

I RESEARCHED FOR A LONG TIME PRIOR TO PURCHASING THIS GENERATOR AND ALL THE POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE WHAT SOLD ME ON THIS ONE. I JUST RECEIVED MY WGEN9500DF AND AM I IMPRESSED! THIS MACHINE IS EVERYTHING THAT THE REVIEWS SAID AND MORE. MY FAVORITE FEATURES ARE THE DUAL FUEL AND THE REMOTE START. NOT SAYING THAT I WANT THE POWER TO GO OUT, BUT I CAN'T WAIT TO USE IT!!!

I purchased this item because I had seen it in operation at my son"s home. The generator was quieter, more fuel efficient, and remote control operated. I was most swayed to purchase the Westinghouse generator because of it's ability to function on either gasoline or propane. Gasoline after a regional upheaval such as a hurricane is not always readily available. The dual fuel capacity makes continued operation more likely during difficult conditions.

I purchased the generator in February, but did not open it until April. Was very pleased to find the generator well packaged. All parts were enclosed. Instructions on assembly were very helpful and accurate. Found the generator to be well constructed and attractive to the look.Pleased with my purchase and would recommend this product
