Just got it today and I had to try it out already . I love the electric start and the remote start the most . It's enough to run my wall mounted A/C unit and everything I might need in a power outage . I've been needing a new generator for a while and I am very happy to have this one .

This generator is a great price for the power and all the connections, it has a nema 14-50 for goodness sake a must for certain mobile businesses. i would not buy a single fuel generator. i've used it for a week and the power and functions are great and love the easy start either starter or pull. My other generators are getting old this will be there replacement

We bought this generator in March 2025, spurred on by my son and after being hit by Hurricane Helene. We’re in our late 70s and we’re able to get it assembled (mostly just the feet/wheels ourselves. With just a few more steps, it was ready to go. It started up so easily and runs like a charm. With a couple of power cords, we are now able to keep tv, lights, appliances, refrigerator running when the power is out. We now feel much more prepared to handle the next big storm and power outage.

So far it's working well. Push button/remote start is great. Run's well on both gas or propane. Have put a 5,000+ watt load on it without issue. Just a slight dip/return in RPM when a device is powered up. Only drawback is it's weight over 200 lbs and the plastic wheels are already showing signs of straining from the weight. When unboxed we discovered one of the top frame rails was bent. Not quite touching the gas tank. We accepted the generator with the damage because it did not affect the operability.

I just got this and after following instructions it started and ran perfectly. Put about a pint of gas in it to test and it seemed to run for almost an hour since I wanted to run it dry. I believe I made the right choice for a backup generator for my vacation home.

I unboxed it and assembly was easy. I followed all the starting instructions and it wouldn’t start. I made sure I followed all the directions. I’m glad I have friends and relatives who were able to assist me in getting it started. Had to unscrew the bolt on the carb bowl to burp it. Started fine after that.

Extremely pleased with the purchase of this Generator. The quality and packaging is outstanding. I had the unit assembled and running on propane in 20 minutes. The electric start and dual fuel capabilities are two of the features that drew me to the purchase. I plan on using the generator for back-up power supply and will be installing a 10 circuit transfer switch to run part of our home during power outages.

Bought this generator a few weeks ago. Assembly was simple. I like many of the features of this unit. Have owned competitive models in the past. The starting system is very nicely designed. Expect to use this as a home back up and a mobile source of power around our farm for many years.

I just recently received this generator so this is an initial review, but thus far I’m definitely happy with the quality and value. 9,500 running watts and 12,000 starting watts for this price is amazing. And the unit has all the features...push button start, remote start, battery charges in-use as well as wall charger, multi display, dual fuel, 20A 30A and 50A outlets. Assembly was quick...4 bolts for legs and 2 pins for wheels, connect battery quick connect, and add engine oil. Minor annoyance is the leg support nuts are welded to the frame, which makes it a little hard to get the threads properly engaged. After a bit of battery charging the unit started right up and ran great. I tested my 50A SEOO cord and 50A back feed panel breaker and under a decent load the generator ran smoothly and did not strain, including high starting watts for my well pump. Only issue is the fuel gauge does not work. Called Westinghouse customer service and after just a few minutes holding they registered the unit and opened a case to send me a replacement gauge. So thus far I am pleased with customer service. Before purchasing I also checked out their authorized repair center network, and they have one about 10 minutes from my house, which is great. Overall I’m very pleased with the quality and power for the price, and would definitely recommend this generator.

You cannot use it as a standby generator. The RUN switch cannot be left in the run position with the motor off. If you do, the battery will run down. In the run position I'm told that a trickle charger should not be used. The big reason why I bought this was to avoid having to trudge outside in the middle of as snow storm to get it started. Granted, it then is just the flick of a switch and a push of a button, but I'm telling you, the snow and ice storms around here will require full winter garb before getting to the generator. On top of that, I'm recently disabled, leaving my wife to this task. Both she & I thought it was going to be started from inside. Major disappointment. Theoretically, I could hard wire a leg of the run switch to inside the house. Then I could control it all from inside. But, I'm sure Westinghouse will consider this a violation of sorts, and void the warranty. I'm having an electrician out to the house to get his opinion. What it comes down to is this: Why have a remote start key fob if you need to go to the generator first in order to use it? Now the good stuff. Once it's running and hooked into our transfer switch, it powers along without a hiccup. Well pump comes on, and the motor doesn't even hint at strain. The unit, for its weight, is relatively easy to roll around. Controls, outside of above mentioned obstacles, are well laid out and easy to understand. Dual Fuel. Ahhhh, very nice. In the future I will be running on a dedicated propane tank, but for now I'm on gasoline. The same electrician will be installing a service interrupt automatic transfer switch to replace my manual transfer switch. This is going to be great, once I figure a way around the fact that this generator can't be left in the power-up ready position. It is not a stand-by generator if you have to stand by it to make it run. What good is a remote start remote start if you have to walk to the generator first?. I'd like to see any one argue against that if you were in my shape. I can barely walk at this point.
