Perfect peace of mind. Easy to assemble with clear instructions. Easy to move around. Plugs in to my interlock no issues. Runs smooth and quiet on propane. Remote key is amazing for when it needs to be started on cold mornings. Every homeowner should buy this.

Received it this morning. Very well packaged, all parts were there. Assembly was straightforward and the machine cranked on both propane and gas the first time. Voltage and frequency were on the money. Actually can't wait for a power failure to really try this dynamo out. Sure it will power our needs just fine. Thank you for a well made American product.

I am impressed with the features and overall design of the unit. I have not had a chance to use the unit yet in an emergency situation. However, I feel secure knowing it is here and ready to go! I must also express my gratitude for Westinghouse replacing my “WGen9500DF” when I discovered some damage to the unit that occurred in the shipping, in my excitement I neglected to do a detailed inspection after unpacking. Nine months after purchase is when I noticed the cage around the unit was bent, as mentioned earlier I received excellent support on this matter (unit was replaced quickly).

Bought this after a week long power outage from an ice storm to hook up to the house in future power outages. It was easy to set up, came with oil and a funnel. Absolutely love the power start feature and auto choke. Push a button and it tries on it's own several times to start. Comes with a remote fob. Started right up. We only ran it for a few minutes to make sure it worked. Yes, it's loud. Haven't seen a generator that isn't. Have not tried the propane yet.

After attaching the rubber stand offs and the wheels I put in the supplied oil. Had to add a little more from another bottle as the supplied bottle didn't quite fill all the way. Pulled down the wiring for the battery and connected it. Added a few gallons of gas and it fired up almost immediately. Seems to work great so far. Nice to have a backup power source for those power interruptions.

I just purchased this unit the other day. It was easy to assemble. The instructions and user manual were well written and east to follow. I had it up and running in 30 minutes. Since it is new, I have not had it running for an extended amount of time. Well made and great features.

I bought this generator as part of a larger project to finally install a transfer switch in our home so we have power during extended outages from now on. I selected this particular generator (despite it not being the least expensive option available to me) based on the strongly positive reviews other owners had provided. Won’t know for sure if I was right until a power emergency arises…but until then I will rest easier knowing we have a reliable solution in place for us.

For a long time I thought about getting a portable back up generator for an emergency. After researching and comparing, it came down to two generator. The Wgen9500DF and a competitor with the same feature. However, the Wgen9500DF had two features ( my wife liked a lot) the other brand didn’t have. The Remote start and the smarts switch box. I bought this generator after the winter storm 2020 hear in Texas. Also they expected the rolling blackouts during the summer so not wanting to be without electric power we decided on this generator to run the whole house. I have tested the generator running the 30 amp twist lock outlet on A wet dry vac and jigsaw and reciprocal saw with no problem. Have not wired to the house yet but will give a follow up review once it is completely connected.

Happy with the ease of set up. Tried generator on both gas and propane. Both worked great! Generator started right up after adding oil and fuel. Easy to start up and like the idea of an alternate way to start it with the pull cord. Very happy with the purchase.

I bought my first Westinghouse generator and it would not start. When I contacted Westinghouse, the support team was prompt in responding to me and got it right into a repair shop where it was determined that it was badly damaged in transit. I got a replacement generator right away and I'm ready for the snow storm that is supposed to hit this week!
