Recently purchased this generator under suggestion of our electrician. He hasn't installed it yet but it came highly rated. Directions on usage seem simple enough plus it has a remote starter. How sweet is that! We've had several power outages in recent weeks so we'll be ready next time one happens.

Purchased this generator as we get the occasional hurricane and blizzard through the area. Started right up and love the battery start option. Through in the remote starter and what more could you ask for. Doesn’t run the entire house, but will keep the food cold and run some human/pet heating or cooling.

I purchased this unit as a portable backup generator for my house. Just finished installing it. Nice unit. Minor quality issue however. I was unable to fully attach the feet to the unit due to a misalignment of the nut welded onto the frame. Not a major issue, just annoying. It fired up right away. I especially like the remote start feature. Can't say that I'm looking forward to using it because that means we have a power outage. Looking forward to using it for remote outdoor events.

Initial setup was simple and it fired right up. However the oil shipped with it wasn't enough to bring it into operating range. The bottle said it was, maybe the bottle wasn't full. Dual fuel is a great option. Looking forward to its simplicity during the next extended power outage.

Lets start with the good stuff. The actual product is fantastic once you get it started. The push button and remote starting is wonderful. I would definitely recommend this generator to my friends and family. They would have gotten a 5 from me on the hardware if it could stand alone. However I believe the instructions are lacking 1 simple clear instruction. That is on page 14 of the manual Connecting the Battery. there in 1 sentence are the complete instructions. When you look at the unit you see black wires with a black tie around them. They look like 1 unit that shouldn't be cut apart. They should split that 1 sentence into 2 steps. 1) Cut the tie holding the battery connections, 2) Connect the 2 ends together. It would also be nice to show a picture of each operation. If you can not do that easily then at less make the tie Yellow or Red so it does not look like it is part of the wires. Customer Support is great when you finally get through to them. It took me days of calling in for long waits only to be hung up on. I was almost ready to send it back to the store.

Unfortunately, once I unboxed my generator and set it up, I could not get it to start. I am in the process of working with Westinghouse to get it serviced and running. Very unusual for a Westinghouse product. I own a previous model of the generator and it has ran flawlessly for 8 years.

This 9500 dual fuel is as expected. Delivered to the door. Box was a bit rough but everything was there and in good shape. Easy to assemble. Oil was included. Used a funnel to add fuel. A few cranks to start and runs smoothly. Only tried 110 so far, still in break-in period. Happy with the purchase.

I bought this generator at the end of August. I hooked up my propane tank and it fired up immediately without any problems. Have not tried gas yet but, hopefully I will have the same result when running on gas. I really like the option of being able to switch back and forth between gas and propane as needed. We'll see how it does when I really need it in a power failure.

Just got this and followed the instructions to set up. Used the whole bottle of oil came with but barely filled up to minimum. I started it using the remote. After one click, it took three cranks, automatically without further interference, to finally fire up. I guess it’s because it’s first time. The bottom line, it’s easy!

Bought today and after I assembled proceeded to test. The first impression was awesome. Noise level was tolerable and less than expected. Generator started right away without issues. Will attempt later with propane and finally have an electrician plug system to the house and test again. Will recommend this product.
