I bought this a few weeks ago since moving to Florida. I was intimidated at first as I never owned one; however, after a lot of reading and reviews I made the purchase on this unit simply based on value, features, and a lot of positive feedback from others. It arrived in great shape, of which I quickly assembled and was up and running in less than 20 minutes.

Just got my transfer switch wired up to the house and gave it a test run. Powers everything as a home backup that I need it to. Probably can run central AC but don’t think it’s wise to. Instead have a couple portable AC units to move about the house. Besides that it handles the water heater and appliances like a champ. Not super quiet but got a 40’ long 50 amp cable to move it far from the house. Well done Westinghouse. Killer price point.

I purchased this Generator and it was delivered 1 week ago. I set it up and 2 hours later we had a power failure and the generator performed perfectly on propane for the duration. I couldn't be happier to have purchased it when I did. It definitely has met and probably will exceed my expectations in the future.

Bought about month ago. Had local utility company install Generlink transfer switch. Had large storm and lost power yesterday. Hooked up wgen9500df using gasoline. Worked great for about 2 hours then quit. producing electricity. Am calling westig hours will update how they handle situation

I have been researching what generator to get for months. I settled on the Westinghouse 9500df as it is big enough to run everything I need. The quality build on this thing is amazing. Super heavy duty. Easy to assemble the wheels and stands. I especially appreciate that they have a handle pre-installed. Runs strong and gives us a lot of peace of mind as we head into winter. Purchased to use with RV. It meets all of the qualifications that I needed it to meet. The remote start function is a necessity since I don't want to have to go out in the rain or cold to start it. The 50 amp connection is great since my RV requires 50 amp service connection.

Hi, I just received the generator. Started right up on propane. Had a minor issue on gas and had to manually set the choke. Support center and live person was very helpful. Phone number right on the box. Had it started in 5 minutes. So far, very good product. FOB remote start works great.

Since I am mechanically challenged, I was concerned about the setup for this generator. It could not have been easier. I followed the directions and it started right up using propane fuel and I ran the generator for about 30 minutes. I bought it in case of power outages and to replace an old generator that was difficult to operate by comparison. Not hoping for a power outage but feel confident this will do the job if there is one.

I bought this a month ago for peace of mind during power outages. It has all the features like dual fuel, electric start and a 50 amp outlet. The whole system is sturdy and well built. Assembly involves bolting on the rubber feet and sliding the wheels on which takes maybe 15 minutes total. The electric start really makes the difference becuase you push a button and it fires right up. I plugged in a few things into it like a toaster oven and a window ac unit. It handled them no problem and I will add in a complete review once I get to use it during an outage.
