Bought this the day before the Buffalo Blizzard, lost power the next day for two days, Generator started right up ran flawlessly in 50 MPH winds, Minus 20 wind chills, with snow coming down at a rate of 2 or 3 inches an hour. Even when we shut it down for 3 or 4 hours to conserve gas, all we had to do was manually adjust choke & it started right up.

Has a very high Quality look and finish, everything was in the box. Went together in a snap, started right up on propane. Love the electric start and the remote start is a really nice feature. The instructions are even clear and easy to follow, really nice piece of equipment, couldn't be happier so far.

Bought this to replace an older one because of the electric start feature. The older one had a pull start and is was hard for me to get it started. The only issue so far was putting on 2 feet on. Was very hard getting the bolts to thread the bolts. Had to use starter fluid to get it running for the first time, not a big deal.

I bought this generator to run a portable air conditioner, refrigerator and some lights in case the power goes out. This generator will do this and more! When I received the generator all I had to do was install the wheels and feet, then add oil and gasoline. Took 15 minutes tops. It started immediately and runs smooth. I tried the outlets and everything works fine. Remember there is a break in period so run it once in a while and don't wait for a power outage for the first time use. Comes with a full manual and quick start up guide. Easy to assemble and easy to use. Should have bought this a long time ago!

I bought this as an emergency generator when the power goes out. I showed it to my friend who is an electrician and said it is a nice unit. He is wiring a transfer panel for me for this generator. It will allow me to run the necessary things in our house without the worry of packing up and going to a hotel.

Bought this a few days ago during an power outage, haven’t got to use it during an outage yet but the next one I will be prepared, I am doing a low load break in of the engine for 5 hours and oil change but the generator started without hesitation with the push start system, only hassle was rolling it in garage where I wanted it.

Windstorm knocked out power for a week in January, hopefully we won't be going through that again but unfortunately we know better and it's its nice to know we have a large generator standing by. Unit came well packaged and faster than we were expecting. Very easy setup, started immediately with both fuels.

Ordered this generator after a major Northeast storm that knocked out power for a few days before Christmas. Arrived after power was restored, so I have not gotten to fully try it out. Assembly was easy. Seems well made. Heavier than you might expect. I did need more than the 1 quart of 4-stroke, 10W30 oil that was included to reach the fill on the dipstick. Started easily. I've spoken to an electrician about installing a manual transfer switch, and they feel I will be able to power my whole house with this generator. (Purchased to power refrigerator, chest freezer, sump pump, furnace and water/well pump.) My only concern is that the owner's manual says not to expose to snow and/or rain. Since I bought to use when we loose power due to weather, I'll need to consult electrician as to how to achieve this. Looking forward to getting this set-up and ready to go.

Generator Starts right up, Push start feature is a plus, Remote is nice also. Fuel gauge is nice. Fuel and Gas selector easy to use.50 amp plug a plus. Floating ground option its a plus Its is quite heavy but its expected for size, Sound its comparable to similar Generators. It would be nice if it had a 12 volt output like usb. Instructions are easy to follow and like that it comes with a maintenance schedule sheet. Would of like a slightly larger fuel tank. 8gal at least capacity? Nice that it included Battery, Oil, Funnel, Spark Plug Socket and tools.

This is my second WGen Generator. First one was a 7500. I use it to run water well pumps in my cattle pasture for cows. This WGen 9500DF will be used to run my home water well and power my house during frequent outages and Hurricanes. Our power has been off for as long as two weeks and we depend on our Generators. This 9500DF has some nice features like the remote start and Duel fuel capable. I plan on using only propane as seems gas goes bad with out constant care and storage is a problem. Have 800 gallon capacity for propane and no worries on it going bad. Have just set this 9500 up and running break-in today. Will service and put some hours on it pumping water and then on to stand by for when it is needed. Thanks Westinghousefor the good products.
