Easy assembly, a bit heavy but not unmanageable, definitely not portable though. One note on assembly, add the oil very slowly otherwise you'll spill it. I was finally able to get an interlock switch installed on my house and I should be able to run everything I need. It is loud but half of that is mechanical noise from the engine. It'll be running on propane so I'll have to alternate between, oven, dryer, and AC units but I can live with that during a total blackout like Texas had in February. Even if I never use it for a blackout it is worth the price for peace of mind.

Just bought this and am very happy with the purchase. The package contained everything needed to get started including a tool kit, oil, battery and a built-in battery charger. Took about 30 minutes to unpack, add the wheels and feet, put in the oil and connect the battery, which was already charged up.

I live in Florida and it's hurricane season, so I decided to have the house set up for power outages. I like the dual fuel feature since we have propane on site, and as soon as I got it home, I hooked it up to 20g bottle and it fired right up with the remote start. It is loud, so I imagine I'll need to do something to address that issue. I'm also planning on tying it into our 250 gallon home propane tank in the near future. I'm not a fan of storing gasoline or fighting for it when a storm is headed our way.

Now that generators are coming back in stock. Made the decision to never be stuck in the situation again like the Texas snow storm of 2021, plus the coming rolling blackouts. Could probably run the whole house, I just have it wired to keep 3 bedrooms lit. Got lights, AC/heat, Internet, and whatever needs charging. The DF is a bonus, no worry about bad gas, just hookup the propane and press the button.

I purchased this generator over a year ago and it’s been in the box since. I recently pulled it out to prepare for a potential storm and I was impressed by the look and features on it as well as the ease of setup. Also, the battery still had a good charge. Good enough to start the generator a couple times on the first test starts! I’m excited to get to try it out for real and see how it handles loads.

I love this machine so much that I bought 2. I have it connected to my home to operate some essentials, like the sewage pump and refrigerators and freezers, but I'm able to also operate my whole house air conditioning with this unit. If I want to run my stove or dryer, I simply turn off the air conditioning while I'm doing those tasks. This got me though 3 day power outages. I love the propane option because I don't have to worry about the gas in the tank going bad.

I haven’t gotten to use this product yet, but I bought it in preparation for future storms. As a Floridian, one can never be over prepared. Bought this particular generator for the 50A plug and dual fuel capabilities! Looking forward to an easy connection in the next big storm!

Bought through Lowes as a manually switched backup generator for our cabin. This unit had awesome reviews! Unit came with everything needed to startup and was a breeze to get running. Love the remote start feature! Am excited to use it for this winter.

I purchased this item October 14, 2020 and thankfully I didn't have to use it until the middle of winter here in Louisiana. My old unit was of another brand with 4500 watts output, and just couldn't power enough of the house. This year we experienced a very hard winter with snow and ice with extremely low temperatures for our southern state. Result no electricity for days! I went out and cranked this Westinghouse unit and I couldn't believe how good this system cranks, runs, and powers up my home with no bogging down or problems of any kind. Wires from battery have to be connected, dump in the oil, and then gas it up. Started right up and handled everything I threw at it. Rubber caps for the outlets were a little loose and don't seem to stay on well. Also one of the wheel mounts is slightly bent but it still rolls. Other than that, it's looking good. Will use it a lot on the next few weeks.
