After losing power for 6 days during an ice storm, I thought it was about time to buy myself some portable power. This is my first ever generator purchase and it was a breeze from the start! Easy, push start and very simple to move from gasoline to propane.

I Just purchased this unit In Anticipation of an approaching high winds. Getting this unit assembled and ready to run was very easy. I really like the remote starting feature. It started easy, and I’am ready if I do lose power. The westing house brand was recommended to me by a friend who has one and used it a lot

I recently purchased this generator for home backup after losing power from a storm. So far the only thing I’ve done with it is run it for the break in period, but everything worked flawlessly so far. I really like the push button and remote start. It is a little bit loud, but it’s a larger portable generator so I expected that. I don’t want to lose power again but I feel much more prepared having this generator.

I love this WGEN9500DF Portable generator. 12,500 peak watts and 9500 running watts can handle my essential electrical needs with ease. I easily ran the generator with both gasoline and propane(1120/8500 watts). The hose to run with propane is easy to use. Love the push button start and remote control, but you can still manually start. I also like the fact that this generator is Transfer switch ready, has a long run time, rubber outlet covers, the VFT Data display, GFIC outlets, auto low oil shutdown, built in fuel gage & the 3 year warranty to name a few. Me not being home when the power goes out created a problem for my wife. The addition of this electric start is great and her ability to start it with the remote is fabulous. Now when the power goes out one push and she's up and running. Even came with trickle charger which I thought I was going to have to buy separate.

We bought this as an emergency back up when the power goes out. The design, with dual fuel, is great. Propane will store for decades and works great for this purpose. Hope we never need it but is peace of mind to have it. In Idaho, you need heat in the winter and this will power most of our house.

Still in the process of ‘breaking in’ the generator, but so far so good. Easy start. All of the parts are in the box and instructions are understandable. Not much to put together for sure, but not having to go to the hardware store for bolts is a plus. Add more later as time and machine warrant the update.

I bought this a month ago to get ready for any potential power outages in the winter. Setup was very easy and it started on the first try. Everything seems to be working well, and I was able to power some yard equipment. Only issue I have is that the fuel gage does not seem to work. Will be contacting Westinghouse to see if it can be fixed.

I purchased this generator for a well that I have for watering cattle. We have had so many hurricanes in the past few years and power remaining out for several days. I wanted something reliable for a power source for my well. I have a Westing House generator at my house for backup power there. I like it. This generator offers a good warranty also if needed.

I ordered this generator 3 weeks ago. It was easy to assemble the wheels and feet and plugged in the battery. I added the oil and some gasoline and pushed the start button and it started first time! Everything works as advertised. It is easy to roll out of my garage when I want to use it
