I did a lot of research and spoke to friends, neighbors and my electrician. When I showed them the WGen9500DF each of them agreed hands down it was the best. I purchased the WGen9500DF generator for my cottage property in August 2022. I've got this hooked up directly to the BBQ propane quick connect (home is heated with propane). I'm using this with a manual transfer switch which supports all the essential circuits including Well Pump, Hot Water Tank, Furnace Fan, Microwave Oven, Television, Lights and Receptacles for more than 50% of the home. In the past whenever there was a power outage, our entire cottage weekend is spoiled and we had to pack-up. We're still waiting for the next power outage but we've been testing the generator on a regular basis and it never fails to start up. I especially like the remote control. Great generator, I would highly recommend it.

Received within 7 day of purchase. Was extremely well packaged from plant and for delivery shipping. Unpacked, read directions and operational booklet (must read) added oil and fuel, started right up. performing break in time. Quality constructed machine. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Have only used it on propane so far as I don't want to put ethanol gas in it. I use it to power my welder as well as plasma cutter and thus far it has done well. Only recomendation I would make on future models is to have a small compartment to store the propane hose onboard the generator.

I bought this generator about six weeks ago after being recommended by a friend. I am extremely happy with it so far. The ease of set up was very User-friendly. Don’t forget to turn on the fuel shut off valve. I expected the noise level to be much less. The one feature that I am extremely delighted about is the remote key fob start.

This generator is extremely flexible and of good quality. It was recommended by my electrician as a backup source of power for my 2-story house. The setup was perfect to power my house completely in case of power loss. I’ve had many generators and this is by far the best one!

This is my second one. i purchased one in ct. last year, and i have been patting myself on the back ever since. power was out for 7 days and it was a lifesaver. i changed the oil a couple times just to be safe but the generator ran perfectly. it took a while for this to be back in stock, but worth the wait

It powers our camper no problem and can power most of our house during outages we couldn't be happier it opens up so many options for us such as off grid camping and getting our son out of the house who has severe autism and otherwise don't leave!!!!!

I bought this a couple of weeks ago, and am glad I did. the mighty wgen9500dl runs on gas or propane, so having more than one option is so convenient. has an intuitive control panel which is so easy to read and understand. the never-flat wheels make it nicely portable. having this generator brings me peace of mind knowing that my major and minor appliances will continue to run should the need arise. Westinghouse has been around forever it seems, my parents and grandparents grew up with Westinghouse appliances in their homes, so its a name you can trust.

I bought this 9500DF recently. Setup was very easy. Started right up on Gasoline. Then transferred to propane supply. No problem, kept running! Not overly loud either. Used the remote to start & stop. Very convenient! Waiting to get 50-amp breaker / receptacle installed on house panel box so I can run select inside lights, select appliances and 3.5 ton AC unit.
