The generator is solid. It is a little noisy but that was exacerbated by the rain. Pros: The remote starting is a nice touch for the cold mornings. Cons: Remote start attempts is a start cycle that attempts to start 3 times while it auto adjusts the choke for gas operation. The propane start is a cleaner quicker start. It takes a little getting used to. The pull start is a little awkward to pull but it is hopeful you never have to practice that.

I bought this dual fuel generator because I needed something to keep the essential appliances in our house running during an outage, the dual fuel option was attractive to me because I don’t like storing gasoline. The unit arrived promptly and was easy to set up and the instructions were clear. It seems very sturdy and well-built. So far during my test run I’ve only used propane but it was easy to start using the push button. One of the GFI outlets seemed a bit sensitive to the leaf blower I plugged in for testing as it tripped when I turned up the speed but the other outlet was totally fine. This is not something I hope to use a lot but I feel like it will serve me well during the next power outage.

Product arrived undamaged. Only problem was one of the motor mount was missing a nut. Nut was laying in the bottom of the box. Easy to put together. Added fuel and oil and started right up. For the money and the features it has. It is the best deal on a generator this size.

I received this last week and finally had a chance to un-box and set it up. Once attaching the feet and wheels (which were quick and easy) I added the oil (needed a bit more than what was provided As it barely came to the minimum level) and fuel. I took it out of my garage, set the choke and it fired up on the first pull. The battery was partly charged and was more than enough to start it using the auto start feature. I was surprised at how a generator this big was easy to start with the pull start. My fiancee also loves the key FOB for remote start. It has more than enough range for where the generator is going to be and she won't even have to go out side unless she wants to, once it is connected if she needs to use it which is one of the reasons I bought it. I have an electrician coming this week to swap out my breaker panel so I can use a manual interlock kit and set up all my external connections so I cannot wait to see how much of my home I can power with this when we test it after the set-up. So far I would and have recommended this generator to others if for nothing else its size and price-point. So far I am extremely Happy with this purchase.

I purchased a gasoline Westinghouse generator a few years back and it worked amazingly. I let it go with my house when I sold it so it put me in the market for a new generator. I decided to go with a duel fuel model this time. I plan on never running gasoline through this generator only propane so I will never have issues with fuel going bad when not being used. Westinghouse is the best generator brand you can buy!

Bought this as a backup generator to tie into my main electrical panel through an interlock breaker. Being selective, the generator powers everything we need in the house during power outages. Cranked right up out of the box. Wheels and handle make it easy to move around. Great deal for the price.

Generator is strong running with great features. I did not give it 5 stars only because I had the same issues as others did that it would not start when switched to run on gasoline. Very simple fix though! The design of the choke lever makes it difficult or rather makes it seem it’s fully choked when it not truly all the way choked. Once I pushed the choke all the way over she fired right up every time.

Awesome machine with push button/fob no hassle start. Very strong and it runs a home 2 ton central AC no problem. A/C, lights, TV, water heater powered with no issues for days after a hurricane. I had a 50 amp power plug installed which I used to connect the generator and power the whole house. It is a little loud.

So far I’ve put the generator together and run it for a couple of minutes. The electrician is installing my transfer switch now, and I’ll give it a test with the new generator. I’m very impressed with the sturdy construction, quality parts, and that everything but a cord was included to get me going. If the generator performs when it’s hooked up like it has so far, it’s easily a 5-star product.

My generator just came in. It was packed first class. Everything was perfect. The instructions were very simple and starting it up on propane was very easy. I feel so much safer now For the hurricane season in front of us and any other natural disaster that may come our way.
