I bought the WGen9500 dual fuel generator to serve as a home emergency power backup system. It was super easy to unbox and setup. The generator started on the first try using the electric start button. I ran the generator for five hours break-in keeping the load below 50% as detailed in the manual. I was surprised and pleased that it was not as loud as I had expected. I am very pleased with the quality, operation and appearance of the components. The electrician who installed a transfer switch for my home even commented on the quality build of the generator and how easily and readily it starts. Thank you Westinghouse!

We purchased this generator a week ago and are so pleased! Power goes out in our area more often than we’d like and this gives us lots of peace of mind. It’s so easy, I, a housewife can hook it up and start if needed. I love the key fob for remote start and that it can power the necessities of our home when the power goes out. We love the duel fuel, the compact size for the power it provides, and the price point. We don’t regret this purchase!

Just received, unboxed and simple instructions to put together. Had another brand for years and the Westinghouse is well thought out. Dual fuel is a must if its hard to get gasoline. Remote start if you want to shut off before bed and restart when you wake up. Digital volt/hour/Frequency/hour meter. Even the funnel has a rotating head! Highly recommended!

I was doing some research on generators for my new house. It is 1500 square feet. I came across the Westinghouse generators and came to the conclusion that it would fit my needs. It was easy to put together and started right up. It is a peice of mind i will be ready when the power goes out.

For a first time generator user I was amazed on how easy it was to set up. Very easy instructions to follow. After it was all set up the generator started right up without any complications. A great product that we are extremely pleased with purchasing!

We purchased to prepare for winter season. It arrived the day before (as scheduled) the first storm of the year and paid for itself immediately. Power went out, we powered 2 fridges, 1 freezer, and a space heater - hardly a dent in the power generated from this thing. Home 50A circuit to be installed soon, this unit will be able to power at least half of our home when that is complete, including our well and septic pump keeping our home running "normal" during the next winter storm. Product arrived undamaged. Setup instructions were clear. Had it running in under 30 minutes with the included bottle of oil. Remote start feature is great, we ran it outside the basement and we can turn it on from our living room the floor above.

Bought this machine to power my welder and oh boy it has been a smooth machine to work with. Very intuitive and quick to learn, this machine will be with me for years. The sheer strength in compact size is amazing for traveling on the road. As a new business owner In mobile welding, this machine has been a great testament to its name. I bought this genset May 22. I did a test start and everything worked great 110 240 are good. I ran it for 30 min with a lawn mower, halogen lights and a fan. All worked great. Easy assembly, it started up on propane and ran great. I will probably never put gasoline in unless I need all its power

Haven't had to use it yet but I am happy with it so far. I just had an electrician install the new box and plug and it will power most of my first floor and basement, which is more than I could have imagined. I like the dual fuel option and plan to run it on propane since there is a little less maintenance involved and don't have to worry about gasoline getting old. I did a quick 'dry run' and it is easy to start, and use. The remote will certainly come in handy when it is cold and wet out! Seven though it is heavy, the handle and wheels make it relatively easy to maneuver. So far I love it.

I love this WGEN9500DF Portable generator. 12,500 peak watts and 9500 running watts can handle my essential electrical needs with ease. I easily ran the generator with both gasoline and propane(1120/8500 watts). The hose to run with propane is easy to use. Love the push button start and remote control, but you can still manually start. I also like the fact that this generator is Transfer switch ready, has a long run time, rubber outlet covers, the VFT Data display, GFIC outlets, auto low oil shutdown, built in fuel gage & the 3 year warranty to name a few.
