I just bought this a few weeks ago preparing for hurricane season; I have not had a need to use it yet. It started right up, and I ran it today for a bit with a light load on it and it didn't blink at all so I have confidence it will do well when needed to handle a larger load. Assembly was simple, just the wheels and feet. Its output, three startup options, and ability to run on gasoline or propane led to my choosing this model.

I bought this generator (WGen9500DFc) in case of an extended power outage in my area. My wife is on a Home Oxygen Concentrator and this gives us piece of mind. I have our Main Breaker Box wired up to so I can hook up the Generator to supply our whole house. The generator will power up most of my house electrical circuits.

Very easy to set up. Note that that manual is incorrect with how to hook up the battery....it is way easier than the manual says. Just plug two cords together and boom...done. IT IS HEAVY! Make sure you are using this on a level hard surface. I can't imagine trying to pull this through dirt or soggy lawn after a storm. But its weight makes it feel sturdy and well constructed. Also nice to be able to use propane in a sealed tanks vs gas-can gasoline going bad.

I have been wanting to buy a generator before the next power outage. After Reviewing Features and prices and also wanted a generator that had dual fuel I decided on the Westinghouse WGen9500DF. Had a inlet box put in for the 50amp to power my Whole house. Simulated a power outage by cutting off utility power. This generator can power my entire house did not use any heavy appliances but the generator can handle heavy appliance washing machine sub pumps,refrigerator freezer,dishwasher and most important Ac and Furnace depending on the season. I would Recommend this product and possibly putting in an inlet Box so that all your devices in your house would be able to work in a power outage up to Generator specs depending if using gasoline or propane Rocko

My old generator had done its time. Purchased this one for more power and for all the options. It even has remote start. Also, very important, it is duel fuel. In a power outage gasoline is hard to come by. I always have plenty of propane on hand. It looks like a well built and sturdy unit. Looking forward to years of service.

We bought this generator because of its dual-fuel feature and it provides enough power for the whole house. The generator was very easy to assemble and the User Manual is thorough. The generator started easily; can't wait to use it during our next power outage.

Received the generator as expected. Had great documentation to get the unit set up, which only took 15 minutes. Documentation was also very well written to get the unit started on propane. The unit is relatively easy to maneuver as well with the built in handle. Meeting all expectations I had upon deciding to purchase this generator.

Started up the first time using the push button start. I am using gasoline as the fuel and I'm receiving the full 9500 watt output. The pull start as a battery backup is an added plus. The unit is lighter and easier to use as compared to my old Troybuilt 7800.

This generator was delivered ten days early; the delivery person contacted me and let know that he would be at my home in thirty minutes. I opened the box and examined the generator; everything was fine. Followed the directions and put everything together in less than twenty minutes. It appears to be built well. I am sixty-nine years old and I could easily handle this beautiful piece of machinery. It wasn’t difficult putting in the oil. I only going to use propane fuel instead of gas, plus I will hire an electrician to install a transfer switch, automatic that is.

I last purchased a backup generator in 1999 for Y2K. I didn't use it for the end of earth that our techies worried about, but the regular power outages we get several times of year. Electronic start rarely worked, gas tank too small for a 7500 W unit, and the power was anything but clean. The WGen9500DF has the promised power, is easy to start with a pull, the electronic start/fob both work reliably in cold weather and the unit's gas tank easily get's me through the day as the fob allows me to start and stop unit without going outside.
