Received it this morning. Very well packaged, all parts were there. Assembly was straightforward and the machine cranked on both propane and gas the first time. Voltage and frequency were on the money. Actually can't wait for a power failure to really try this dynamo out. Sure it will power our needs just fine. Thank you for a well made American product.

I got the WGen9500DF and it will power my whole house. It starts right up with the remote key fob and the choke engages automatically to get the engine running. It has the 50 Amp socket which transfers the power to my house in one power cord. It runs on gas and propane and has great fuel efficiency. Not as worried about hurricanes now!

I like the Gen but have an issue with the quick start up instructions. The instructions did not mention connecting the quick disconnect for the battery . I had to troubleshoot to get the electric start to work. The quart of oil was not enough to fill the machine to the proper level per the instructions. It is louder then expected.

Easy to set up, connected to a 50 AMP inlet and Transfer switch. Able to power Mini Split for heat and ac, well pump, Fridge, plenty of lights and receptacles. Ability to run gas and connect to home propane insures long run time. Would buy again

Purchased this a few months ago for Hurricane season and it looks like I will need it in a few days so tested today. I have a 3 ton and 2 ton A/C units at the house and the generator ran both units along with all essentials in my house and did it with propane. This thing is a beast and does exactly what I needed it to do

The WestGen9500DF was very easy to assemble. It was also at our location a day prior. I have not fired it up yet however, it is made in the US of America and I'm excited of that and not supporting the China. The Gen looks great! I will write another review when I test run it. I have had two prior generators that had limited features. This beast is now back-feeding into my main breaker panel for all of my smaller home circuits (except the A/C, pool, WH and a couple other large 50/60 amp breakers). I've tested at 50 amp twist lock cord (purchased separately) and everything in the house runs. No more dragging power cords. My wife loves the push button start, she could never start the others with pull cords. I am very pleased with the purchase.

I bought this because we lose power a lot here in Florida. I did my research and found this to be an exceptional value because it has 4 120v outlets so i can run several items at the same time. also the electric start is great so i dont have to worry about my wife when the power goes out. it started right up and ran great during my first run. i would absolutely recommend this generator to anyone that has a need and the price was great in comparison to others

I bought this two months ago online. It's easy to start and hooked up and ready to power the whole house with a switch on my circuit breaker panel. It comes with motor oil, and a hose for propane use. There will be enough power to keep my water pump running!

Generator purchased at Lowes and delivered by sub-contracted service. Arrived undamaged. Set-up instructions clearly spelled out in manual and relatively simple. Started-up immediately. Ran one-tank of gasoline (5 gallons ran generator for approximately 7 hours). Switched to propane after gas ran out...again, started immediately after required adjustment for fuel change over. Brand new unit with only the use described above, but so far I'm completely pleased. Have an electrician scheduled to install transfer switch so that we can power entire house during future power outages. That will tell the tale regarding reliability, but the WGen9500DF seems well designed and sturdy. The price seemed quite reasonable for a unit large enough to power most energy needs for the entire house. Honda inverter generators, while undoubtedly great products are more than twice the cost of other brands of comparable energy output.
