I bought this a month ago and set up to prepare for an emergency ,i like the 50amp feature for full power when needed and the fob key is a nice addition to this generator nicely built machine will keep the power going when needed I would recommend this to the people and friends I know

After a lot of research, I wanted dual fuel. and lots of features. I bought this generator because of the power. It's enough to run my 2700 sq ft house give or take a few items. Easy to put wheels and feet on. I put the oil in, hooked up propane, hit the electric start and boom stared right up with no problems. During break in ran my two refrigerators, electric chain saw, battery chargers and some lights. I'm very pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend this product.

Bought this generator the day after we got power back. We were without power for 7 days and said we won't be without power again. We figured we needed bare necessities to survive but the fuel consumption (approx. .55gph or .67gallons of propane per hour) is the same as smaller generators (5kw generators). So for a little additional upfront cost to get the bigger 9500w you can have all the power you could want while using the same amount of fuel and know you will never be underpowered. Also got the dual fuel because we found during an emergency gasoline is hard to find and you can run a grill propane bottle for about 7hours which will buy you some time for gasoline to become available to switch back to. The generator will scare you because you will push the start button and it cranks for a long time and sometimes you have to push start again for another cranking cycle but I guess that is just a characteristic of this generator. It has always started it just cranks for a long time before it fires up. Once it is running it is quiet and the wheel/handle kit is great for moving it around! Great purchase, I feel so prepared for any storm now.

Very easy to assemble with good detailed instructions, took just a few minutes. The battery charged up very quick with no issues there. Used both propane and gasoline to start it and both type fuels started immediately! The key fob start-up worked just fine as well. Haven't had to use the generator yet but did try it on a couple of power tools and a portable AC and it worked just fine.

Set up was easy, instructions made sense, watch when filling oil as at the end it comes up near the filler cap which can be too much. After setting up and fueling used remote started right up, checked with the push button on the unit, that worked as well. Does not seem too loud but had no load on it. One issue was the cap over the propane connection had been shoved on and now won’t thread on correctly see picture. Also note the oil fill cap is plastic and threading into the metal. This too could be easy to mis-thread it when screwing it in, so take your time. Have not connected to house yet so we’ll see how it does and revise as needed.

We bought this for the upcoming hurricane season and tested it yesterday. Got the oil and gas in, and hooked up the battery. Took two tries with the electric start button, but that was because the gas had to get through the fuel system. Started right up on the second press of the button.

When the generator arrived, it was very simple to get the wheels on and get it set to run. It started easily and ran great. I liked that the oil was even supplied. I plugged several different things in and ran them singly and combined and it powered everything. I ran it on gas and haven't tried the propane yet. I would say I can't wait until the next power outage to use it, but I'll have to settle for I'm glad to have it for the next power outage.

I bought a WGen11500Tfc and a WGen10500Tfc i December for back up generators for my house and my Mother in laws house on my property. I un boxed them,set them in place and tested them, I wad happy with the purchase. I followed the instructions for long term storage in the manual. We recently had a power outage and my generator the 11500 would not start but the 10500 started right up. I have put in a warranty request and I was told to remove the carburetor disassemble it and clean it.I am not a me mechanical person but I did my best. This did not fix the issue. Now I am being told that I need to have the carburetor replaced at my expense even after following the Westinghouse instructions. Ultimately do not count on the Westinghouse "Warranty " they do not seem to back up their product. WISH ME LUCK DURING HURRICANE SEASON!!!

This WGen9500DF is exceeding all my expectations. Am able to fully run my entire home, including a 40 amp A/C, concurrently. Electrician who installed the Transfer Switch was so impressed he took video of the generator to show to others. This unit started on first try and has continued to do so in subsequent starts. Not too loud and is easy to move around. The remote start fob is a great plus. I researched and shopped for months before selecting this Westinghouse product. it was consistently rated as an excellent buy. Bought one for my daughter/son-in-law as I was so impressed. Highly recommend this WGen9500DF.

I recently bought the 12500/9500 duel fuel generator for hurricane season and I love it. Arrived on time, very easy to set up and get running. The remote start and shut off is outstanding. I especially love that the battery has a disconnect for storage
