I purchased another generator at first and found out it didn't have the features I was looking for. Found this generator and it has exceeded my expectations. I have enough power to run the majority of stuff in my house and an added bonus is the remote start feature.

Out of box experience was easy. Cut the box down the corners, and tip the unit onto its side, on the cardboard. Bolt on feet (wrench included in box) and install one wheel with a cotter pin. Roll unit onto the other side and install the other wheel. Tip upright and fill the oil with the funnel, both included. Connect the battery wire, then thread on the included propane hose/valve. Connect your tank, open its valve, set the unit to propane, then hit start. I connected the 50A outlet to our transfer switch, and can run all the 120v stuff in our house, no problem. Hopefully, having this set up will insure us from any further outages.

I am very excited to receive my new toy, I think it was a smart purchase that gives us peace of mind and back up the electric power before inclement weather and grid power failures which we have already had. Remember that this is not a luxury, it is a necessity and for the peace of mind of the home and my family.

Well finally got my wife to let me buy this puppy. It’s heavy! After putting on the wheels and foot pegs filled it with oil and some gas and connected the battery. Pushed the button and it cranked then cranked again and started. We will not be setting in the dark for 4-7 the next snomagedin. This puppy will handle it all maybe not all at once. But with proper power management frozen will stay frozen and house will stay warm.

This is a great generator. It's got the same features as the generic generators that cost more and it's a name I have heard of. Everyone has heard of Westinghouse. They could definitely charge more for this generator, but I'm glad I got at at the price point I did. A real bargain.

I bought this when my old generator quit. The power came back on while we were unloading this one. I have ran it a few times and I love it. Especially the remote start. I am looking forward to seeing how much of the household it will run. I am very pleased so far.

Powerful generator, easy to assemble, easy set up! The box it came in was in shambles from delivery, and I thought this machine would be destroyed! Amazingly it had a tiny dent on the frame, everything else appears fine! It’s a loud machine, but I didn’t buy this for its quietness, I bought it for its huge power!

We haven't had to use the generator yet, but we did prep it. It is easy to setup. It is a little difficult to install the wheels and I would advise having someone to help. We are using a 50 amp hookup and the cord is very thick. When we try to plug it into the generator, the cord hits the wheel. We are still checking to see if there is a fix for this. Otherwise, it is easy to move and started right away with the electrical start.

I bought this to use as an alternative power source for my home in the event of power loss due to hurricanes as I live in Florida. The product is very high quality, started right up. I love the electric start feature and the duel fuel capability which is very simple to change from gas to propane as necessary.

I just had this delivered today and set it up per the manual. Put gas in the tank, hooked up a propane tank, set it to start on propane, pressed the remote start button and it fired right up. I then switched from propane to gas on the fly and it ran perfectly. I did that back and forth a few times from gas to propane and propane to gas then let it run for a while on gas, shut it down then let it run a while on the propane. It ran flawlessly. The manual is very east to understand so you do not need any technical expertise, just follow the instructions and you'll be up and running in no time. Last week I had an electrician hook up a transfer switch and an outside plug for a 25 foot 6 gauge cord because I didn't want to run multiple extension cords, but still could if I wanted. He asked what generator I bought and when I told him the Westinghouse he said he has the exact one and said they are rated #1 so I feel better that I really made the right choice. We are now set up in case the Texas electric grid goes down again like it did this past February. Thanks Westinghouse!
