I bought this a couple weeks ago and the generator is really nice. Super easy to assemble and it started right up. I am having a transfer switch put in and will be using the 50amp connection most of the time. I recommend this product! Looking forward to using it!

Just received this model yesterday (Wgen9500DFc) and read through the manual, start up procedures, etc. Followed through today with assembly and first start up with propane. Everything went so smooth. Very solid, no vibrations. Very impressed and satisfied with this purchase.

Remember that if it’s a wide-spread power outage, many of the gas station pumps will be unable to function. That’s why having this option of propane as well is a great feature. The push start and remote start feature makes it easy for my pregnant wife to operate it while I’m at work.

Unboxed new generator and got it to run on propane. It would not put power out on 50amp circuit. Tried 120 volt outlets and they kept tripping the GFIC and would not stay powered. For one 120 volt outlet to work without cutting out. Not what I bought the generator to accomplish. I have a service ticket pending…

After shopping for a generator for a while and doing a lot of research, I chose this dual fuel model from Westinghouse. Trusted brand, plenty of power and smooth running. It is so solidly built and well finished compared to previous generators I’ve owned. I highly recommend it and very happy I purchased it.

Easy Assembly comes with everything you need. Hooked up to the house had no problems running heat two refrigerators, well, sewer pump, lights and technology to keep everyone online and working. Haven't had the need to run for long term outage but am confident for the next storm. Would definitely recommend the unit.

MADE THE CHOICE OF THE WGEN9500DF AFTER A LONG, INTENSE RESEARCH OF AVAILABLE GENERATORS. UPON RECIVING, MINOR ASSEMBLY AND STARTUP, I'AM POSITIVE IT WAS THE BEST CHOICE. MANUALS WHICH WERE EASY TO FOLLOW, ACCESSORIES, ETC. WERE COMPLETE AND TOOK ME FROM CARTON TO RUNNING WITH EASE AND SUPPLIED TOOLS FOR FUTURE SERVICING. AFTER INITIAL RUNNING, IT WAS TESTED OUT FOR ACTUAL SERVICE AND IT PREFORMED BETTER THAN MY EXPECTATIONS FOR SUPPLIED POWER, QUIET RUNNING AND THE REMOTE START/STOP IS A BIG PLUS.

After looking and comparing different generators, we chose the WGen9500DF which best meets our needs. We received the generator and my husband had it up and running in 1/2 hour. The assembly was easy. Great construction fit & finish. We tested with propane first and had no problems. Easy to read manual. We will definitely will have this generator for years to come.

Just received the generator. Gave it a trial run. Extremely easy to set up and get it started. Directions were easy to follow. Just be sure to go step by step. I was too eager to push the start button. Have to remember to move the fuel shut off valve to on position. After checking for all systems go, easy to start with the button and with the remote start. A breeze to pair the remote start to the generator. I was surprised at how the noise level was not as loud as expected. The unit is moveable with the wheels, heavy but not so heavy that I cannot handle. Very happy with the unit. My electrician said I got a really good generator. I should even have enough power to use my electric stove top if we loose power. Highly recommend.

We just received this generator and can't wait to get it connected to our electrical service and potentially getting the conversion kit for natural gas. Love the features like remote start and the dual fuel capabilities. The extra bonus is the free generator cover that we should be receiving after submitting this review.
