purchased this item after hurricane ian, once arrived, assembly required minimal, and once filled with oil, fuel and battery connection made starting was a breeze. just make sure choke is in the cold start position. tried all methods of starting, worked as expected. was especially surprised at the ease of pull start. very happy with purchase to date.

Fast shipping, there was very little assembly required, sturdy, even has wheels and a pull out handle for easy moving, has everything my husband wanted in a generator for our home/family in case of emergencies like the one last February that left 12 of us in a tiny RV because it had propane for heat. My husband and I are glad we chose Westinghouse after researching other brands, it was rated one of the best.

I did extensive research and liked the Westinghouse brand. Read lots of reviews. New out of the box, started up and ran perfectly for a few hours. Then just stopped working. Determined that the battery is not charging during use. Note, as of writing this review, I have not yet contacted Westinghouse support. I will update an amend my review as things change.

Thankfully I haven't had to use it yet but after hooking it up and performing a test I couldn't believe how easy it was to use. The generator's remote start is a great feature and started the generator up with ease the first time. Was able to run all necessary circuits in my house without issue. Good bye dark days!

I bought this generator 2 days before Hurricane Beryl hit Houston, Texas and left us without power for over 5 days. This generator was a life saver powering my whole house thru this outage. I highly recommend having a transfer switch installed along with this to make it much easier to use. Excellent investment especially for the Gulf Coast of Texas.

Decided to buy a generator after the big freeze and power outage in Texas and settled on this one. Followed all the instructions in the manual and fired it up. The FOB pairing was pretty straightforward. The first time trying it out, it didn’t start on the first go. It cranked 3 different times before the engine turned over. Checked the receptacles and they all had full voltage output. I haven’t tried it on my transfer switch but will update review when I do.

Just bought have only ran it for a hour or so, but it is doing what I had hoped for. It is able to run my 2 horse deep well pump with the 30amp 240 volt. and power our 50amp 5th wheel with many appliances on..and air conditioner..runs and starts smooth...I should be ready for fall/winter power outages

I'm replacing a non-working portable generator with this one. Just rec'd yesterday. Put it together and did test run today. Started right up. So far only tested 110v, but will test 220v this weekend. Love the electric start; especially the remote start and stop. Its heavy, but I could roll it around without issue even on gravel. Happy so far!

I bought this a week ago. I Thought it would have to be returned. After putting wheels on , oil , gas , tried to start it several times and would not start. I did all the steps and nothing. Tried to take out spark plugs as recommended it would not come out. But that was due to the cheap nothing tool that came with it. Used a craftsman spark plug wrench came right put back in started right up. Run great. I think it will be a good purchase. Haven’t put load on it yet will do another review after I have it connected to the house. In the process of installing a soft start my home ac. It should run the whole house. I did try propane also ran smoother then gas.

I lost power for 2 days and I needed to borrow a generator from a freind. It happened to be a Westinghouse WGen9500DF. I loved it so much I purchased one for myself. I really liked the dual fuel option most. I do not know how often I'll use it, but I'm sure glad I have it.
