I 'm sorry I waited so long to purchase a generator (my wife has been pestering me for a few yrs to get one). I bought the 9500 yesterday.(6-20-22). We lost power again last week for 10 hrs. and we could have used our new generator then. Will be contacting a electrician shortly to wire up the transfer switch and are anxious to try this new power house.

I bought this just a few days ago. I am now without worry of lost of power. We have gradually lost power most often and longer. What I like with this generator is that I can use propane and not have to worry about fuel getting old. As well this generator provides me with all the power my house needs. Great buy at a great price from a very reliable company.

I have been able to run the unit each month while it sits in standby, but only on propane. I can not get the unit to run while using gasoline. I want the unit to work properly since we do have spotty outages in our area with spring and fall storms that leave the power out for 1-2 days at a time.

I have owned this Generator for over a year. Does not start when temperatures are too cold Had some type of surge (I have a surge "Suppressor") and using a 10 gauge extension cord but still had something go wrong with power output. Generator runs good but no power output.

We bought this for storm protection but realize that I can use this for welding since I don't have the outlet to do this. The unit is not noisy so it won't annoy my neighbors who may be without power, or at least enough to run the A/C system. Easy to assemble and move around, and set up and break in operation was easy. I chose to use the LP option since I didn't want to put gasoline in it not being sure if I would be using this storm season.

Instructions and set up to use easy to follow. We are ready if powe goes out. the only negative is that the front "feet" are supposed to bolt to the generator frame with 2 bolts, but the frame only had one hole w a weld utility. Somehow missed the second hole and weld it. Minor issue though

We have been putting off buying a generator for a while. We dealt with 5 to 10 power outages in a years time due to our crazy Kentucky weather. We purchased the Westinghouse generator and it has been phenomenal, an absolute life saver. No more power outages for us. : )

I bought this portable generator to help with any power outages due to storms. I am a single mom and wanted something reliable and easy to operate. I needed it to provide power to my sump pump, turn on the heat and a few lights. The electrician slowly explained to me how to operate it and it is very manageable.

We bought this recently, and while we will be using it heavily at the end of the month we have just started it up. It took quite a few tries to get it started the first time, which caused us to think it was either broken or we missed a step. But after letting it try the battery (one-touch) start for 5 minutes it fired up and ran like a champ. I think they should leave a notice somewhere that this might occur and not to worry to make customers feel better or prevent returns. That said, other than having to buy an adapter to cover the 4-prong locking 30 Amp to a standard 3-prong camper 30 Amp it has a lot of great features. We were able to run the a 50-amp camper with the air cranked up no problem. The switch between propane and gas is so easily and seamless since you don't have to turn it off to do it. I hardly noticed it changed over since it didn't break a sweat. I do wish it was a little bit quieter, but for the power you get and the price (compared to an inverter which can be quieter at sometimes DOUBLE the price) I really cannot complain too much. Overall, a great purchase and we look forward to hopefully MANY years to come.

Bought this last year (2023) and finally got an electrician to my house to install a 50amp plug to go directly into my panel. Electrician verified this generator has all the power I need to run my groundwater pump, refrigerator/freezers, microwave lights and small space heaters to keep us comfortable during frequent outages in our part of California. The electrician charged more than the price of the generator.
