First I would like to compliment Walmart. This is my second big online purchase from Walmart and I am satisfied with both. This is my first generator and I was able to connect and test it successfully. It works as it is supposed. Exactly what I have looked for on the best price I have found!

I bought this generator to replace the one I had for over 20 years. I like this because it has remote start, dual fuel, and higher wattage.It was simple to assemble and came with everything I needed. Started right up and runs quieter then my last one. I think I made a good choice.

We are giving it these stars ahead of an actaul emergency. We base them on: 1) easy to set up, 2) two types of fuel can be used 3) pull start in case battery needs that ever as backup to the ignition push button 4) The Pilot Delivery Service was excellent. Delivery date was later than website stated but, hey, these are Covid-19 times AND it was super fast for such a big item. The delivery company themselves were great to work with - they were punctual and professional. We had reservations about buying this from a place like Walmart over "home repair" retailers but we are very happy we did. Walmart came through! The extended warranty is priced far better than competitors as well. Don't hesitate to buy this if you need to prepare for possible emergency outage. Takes about a week to 10 days to get the item from initial order time. (comes from East Coast so if you live there may be quicker) The generator is well built according to spouse, maybe a little louder than some might expect if you have never heard a generator running.

We are using this generator and a transfer switch to supply power for our house during power outages. The most important features for us was the 9,500/12,500 watts, battery start, battery cutoff, built in trickle charger, 50 and 30 amp connections, and dual fuel (gas & propane). The 50 amp plug fits the cord we plug into the 50 amp transfer switch. The 30 amp receptical fits our RV cord. It has all the other features that come on generators this size, but the 3year warranty and great price sold us on it

We lost power for 24 hours and thank goodness we had this generator on hand. I assembled and had running within 1 hour with no issues and started up immediately. Broke in per the instructions for over 5 hours and it has run flawlessly. Great purchase and product!!

Delivery was on time and box wasn't damaged. It will be running on propane and used as a whole house generator. The generator started right up. We haven't had the need to use it yet, but we feel comfortable that we have a back up for electrical outages.

I did my research of the major brands that are duel fuel and have enough power to operate my home with only a small concern of what I am running in the house. I heat/cool 3,700 sq. ft. with 3 Minie splits and Geothermal, this unit does all I could expect. I did favor Westinghouse because of a small 3,600w unit I have on our floating dock. This small unit will start and run on the (2) second pull EVERY TIME.

This generator came through for me during two power outages. I bought a Reliance 30 amp through the wall kit with a 30 amp extension which sends 30 amps into your home using six plug in outlets on the inside of your home. It's transfer switch ready should I decide to go that route. Love the remote start.

This is just an initial review. I have not used this unit under any real load. 1. Delivery - Impressive. I live on a 1/4 mile long gravel driveway. I did not realize the unit would be delivered via tractor-trailer although I did spend some time looking when I ordered. The gentleman who delivered it parked on the little country road at the end of our driveway, unloaded the unit with the electric pallet fork and then drove the entire driveway with the electric pallet forks. I was stunned when I responded to the doorbell to find him standing there with the 200lb delivery. He went above and beyond. Very impressed! 2. Initial quality - Packaging was more than sufficient. There was no damage. - All the parts were in the box - including the remote start which took me a few minutes to find (it was hooked on the pull start rope (lol).) - Assembly was well detailed (and understandable) in the user's manual and simple to complete. Yes, I always read the user's manual and I am not ashamed. Initial startup - Initial startup was a breeze. This is the first time I have ever owned a unit with electric start. It is worth EVERY PENNY! And the remote start? Functionality and convenience for an emergency. Imagine that! - Ran the unit for a couple hours on gas. Changed the oil. - Ran the unit until the gas completely ran dry. - Switched over to propane. The unit ran like a dream. So far, Sam's Club and Westinghouse have exceeded my expectations. Now to find an electrician to install a transfer switch to the main panel. Sounds like fun!
