From the minute you open the box you can tell it’s a high quality generator. Everything is well packed and easy to find. It only takes a few minutes to assemble the wheels and feet. Beyond that, all you need is to fill the oil. Everything you need (excluding fuel) is in the box. I opted to test it with propane. Fired right up and ran smoothly. Connected it to my 50A power inlet, flipped the interlock and breakers and we were running everything but the dryer and 5 ton AC off the generator. It wasn’t even working hard. I picked up two window AC units that I plan to use if needed. We can live without the electric dryer but I’m thinking this WGen9500DF would handle it. Sam’s delivery service (Estes) was excellent. The guy put it right in the garage. All in all, I’m extremely pleased!

Purchased this to keep the majority of things in my house running when the power goes off. After many back to back storms, I'd rather be prepared. Easy to assemble. Just add the two feet and the two wheels, connect the battery, add the included oil, add fuel and it's good to go. Started right up with the pushbutton. Let it run awhile. Stopped it. Started with the included remote start. Let it run awhile. Stopped with the remote starter. Works excellent. Held power output nicely under medium load.

Excellent generator has lots of features for the price easy to start with push button remote. Has the convenience of Dual fuel with propane or gas, The only thing that should be included is a running generator cover since most of the time the generator will be operated under rain or snow.

I bought this generator from Sam's Club; it arrived fairly quick with free shipping directly to my home. Once I got it, it was fairly easy to uncrate and assemble, once on wheels it is very easy to move because the generator is over 200lbs. I started it up (no issues) using propane (which is all I'm planning on using) I ran it about 2 hours with no load, I then changed the oil (I recommend this, because of small shavings in new engine). After changing the oil, I ran another 2 hours with about a half-of-load appx. 4200kw, it ran great, and had no problems with 2 frigs, stove and fans in living room and bedrooms and lights. it ran smoothly and the remote start was great. It does take a bit more oil than the quart that was provided. I'm ready for the next outage.

Very impressed with this generator. Shipping box was not damaged. Followed the directions put in oil, connected propane tank and generator started right up. I’m still not done with the 5 hour break in period. So far I’m very happy with this purchase.

Did a lot of research and for the money you won't find a better deal on a generator with this power output. Even checked on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, nothing beat it. A great generator that will power everything in the house, or one AC and a few other items. I also thought the remote start was a throw away gimmick, but it is a nice little addition. I like the generator and how easy it is to start. However it has a manufacturing defect causing it to leak gas continuously. Westinghouse’s customer service is pretty poor. Sam’s club is great and they will exchange but the generator is out of stock with no idea when, if ever, it will be back in stock

Unit is solid and seems well built. Purchased for a food trailer build. It is pretty loud and does not idle down when load drops off, and it stays running at full speed even if nothing is plugged into it. Time will tell if this is a good or bad thing. On a job site where noise isn’t the main issue, this should be a beast, if used for power loss at home and you have neighbors, they may not like the noise unless you help with their power issues lol. It has a hookup for automatic power switching for house backup power which is a plus; now for the engineering dept to make it quieter. Not sure how it will be with a food trailer, may have to get a 50’ power cord. The key fob start is definitely a plus and works great (still has an onboard start button and pull start). Have not tried the propane fuel side yet, so no comment to that. The onboard meter if a nice touch, it gives you volts , hz, and run time, at push on the button. Plenty of options in the power outlet department for your needs, whether it’s 50 amp 240 volt, 30 amp 120/240 volt, and two 20 amp 120 volt gfi protected outlets. Engine oil is easy and convenient to fill and has a nice funnel that make it that much easier. Draining the oil should be just as easy and mess free if planned out with a shallow pan that will hold more than 1.16 quarts. The gas tank fill is big and easy to hit and the flame arrester in the inlet doesn’t make you slow down you fill up because of splashing.

Bought this generator a couple months ago as we live off grid and i was heavily pregnant and couldn’t start our old generator by myself. This push button start and remote has been a life saver as my husband goes to work and now that we have the baby i dont have to leave him to turn it on.

This generator is a beast to power all. Remote fob, power on button or pull cord. I had a 50amp inlet professionally installed to my breaker box. Bottom line I can power my entire house. Obviously you pick and choose what you want to save gasoline or propane if needed. Saved over $10,000 not buying a generic. Our house is 8 years old and we’ve been without power maybe 6 times so this investment was definitely justified.
