Unit is solid and seems well built. Purchased for a food trailer build. It is pretty loud and does not idle down when load drops off, and it stays running at full speed even if nothing is plugged into it. Time will tell if this is a good or bad thing. On a job site where noise isn’t the main issue, this should be a beast, if used for power loss at home and you have neighbors, they may not like the noise unless you help with their power issues lol. It has a hookup for automatic power switching for house backup power which is a plus; now for the engineering dept to make it quieter. Not sure how it will be with a food trailer, may have to get a 50’ power cord. The key fob start is definitely a plus and works great (still has an onboard start button and pull start). Have not tried the propane fuel side yet, so no comment to that. The onboard meter if a nice touch, it gives you volts , hz, and run time, at push on the button. Plenty of options in the power outlet department for your needs, whether it’s 50 amp 240 volt, 30 amp 120/240 volt, and two 20 amp 120 volt gfi protected outlets. Engine oil is easy and convenient to fill and has a nice funnel that make it that much easier. Draining the oil should be just as easy and mess free if planned out with a shallow pan that will hold more than 1.16 quarts. The gas tank fill is big and easy to hit and the flame arrester in the inlet doesn’t make you slow down you fill up because of splashing.

This is just an initial review. I have not used this unit under any real load. 1. Delivery - Impressive. I live on a 1/4 mile long gravel driveway. I did not realize the unit would be delivered via tractor-trailer although I did spend some time looking when I ordered. The gentleman who delivered it parked on the little country road at the end of our driveway, unloaded the unit with the electric pallet fork and then drove the entire driveway with the electric pallet forks. I was stunned when I responded to the doorbell to find him standing there with the 200lb delivery. He went above and beyond. Very impressed! 2. Initial quality - Packaging was more than sufficient. There was no damage. - All the parts were in the box - including the remote start which took me a few minutes to find (it was hooked on the pull start rope (lol).) - Assembly was well detailed (and understandable) in the user's manual and simple to complete. Yes, I always read the user's manual and I am not ashamed. Initial startup - Initial startup was a breeze. This is the first time I have ever owned a unit with electric start. It is worth EVERY PENNY! And the remote start? Functionality and convenience for an emergency. Imagine that! - Ran the unit for a couple hours on gas. Changed the oil. - Ran the unit until the gas completely ran dry. - Switched over to propane. The unit ran like a dream. So far, Sam's Club and Westinghouse have exceeded my expectations. Now to find an electrician to install a transfer switch to the main panel. Sounds like fun!

I have hired an electrician to install an invert box that connects to the main electrical panel to transfer the power from the generator to my house. We tested and saw my 5-ton AC, freezer, refrigerator, TV, all lights turned on immediately. The generator is solid build and powerful enough for the whole house. I'm satisfied with the purchase.

We bought it after a 4 day power outage in June, and had to use it last weekend due to another overnight outage. We got it out of the box and set up in about 30 min. Worked great all night. The full tank of gas lasted about 12 hours. We had a window unit, a light, a fridge, and a freezer connected, no problem at all. The unit is very heavy so you need 2 people to install the wheels and the feet but after that it's easy to move by one person. I'd recommend it 100%.

Assembly is only putting on the wheels and two footings, connecting the battery wire connector and the spark plug wire. All very easy. Remote is pre-programmed. Started with remote on 1st attempt after adding the oil and fuel. I installed a 50A double-pole breaker in the home electrical panel, a 50A outlet near it and connected the outlet to the 50A breaker. All I have to do is turn off the main home panel power supply breaker, have on only the home panel breakers I need, which for me is the whole 1850 sqft all-electric house, then flip on the 50A breaker, plug in the 50A cable to the generator and the 50A outlet, then start the generator. I now can sleep soundly and not worry about a loss of power. Delivery was one (1) week late, but the refund compensation given for the delay was great.

I got this generator for mother's day and couldn't be happier. I run a micro bakery and also have livestock cattle. I need something to let me run my bakery in bad weather and keep water flowing for my steers. This generator did the job! Easy to start and comes with remote start and easy hook up. We are happy with our purchase and recommend it to all our friends. Two of them Who also got the same one too.

Purchased to power a food truck with coolers, water pump, lights, and other electrical. Works like a dream, easy to manage, plenty of power! I plan to add a transfer switch to my home and use it for outages. Couldn't be happier for the price point!

This generator is a beast to power all. Remote fob, power on button or pull cord. I had a 50amp inlet professionally installed to my breaker box. Bottom line I can power my entire house. Obviously you pick and choose what you want to save gasoline or propane if needed. Saved over $10,000 not buying a generic. Our house is 8 years old and we’ve been without power maybe 6 times so this investment was definitely justified.

Hard to review. Generator damaged during shipment. Received on March 3rd and submitted an incident report immediately and have not got an answer from Sams or the manufacturer as to what to do with it. It is sitting in garage. 21 days is long enough to get an answer so will not order a generator on line again from Sams Club. Will be loading into my van and hauling it into a store to get my money back.

Bought the first generator October 17th, 2024. This generator had problems from the start. Finally found out it was in the engine. After it broke down three times. Westinghouse covered it Under warranty and had a new generator sent to me 5/9/2026. Turns out the 1st generator was a lemon. Which doesn't normally happen. Westinghouse Service was great. Replacing the generator. And paying for the labor. Hopefully.
