Bought this just at the beginning of hurricane season. Right out of the box, hooked it up to a propane tank & started it up. Purred like a kitten. Working on getting the electrical box replaced on this 50 year old house & getting the hook up set for the generator. It's a relief to have power backup, just in case! Peace of mind is priceless!

I bought this recently after reading reviews and looking at features and pricing and made my decision based on quality and sound level versus other brands. I wanted abilities of large power if needed 50A plug insures that verse 30A. And with auto start with or without a key fob is a nice feature. I originally was going to buy 2 smaller ones as I dont necessarily need extra power but in the event I connected to a house or a welder I'll be set . Gret vale . Started on first auto start on propane perfectly. Testing on a hot tub .

Replaced my 14 year old generator (not a Westinghouse) with this Westinghouse. I was so impressed by all the features that were not on my old generator. I liked the auto start, propane/gasoline feature, CO detector, and straightforward instructions. I believe the manual covered any questions I may have....this means alot when you're older!

I love having the option to run this generator using propane as well as gasoline. You can use propane for a short power outage and then put the generator into long term storage without draining out the gas tank. Lots of features for however you need to use the unit.

Received the generator in excellent condition. Installed the wheels and the stands, easily. Added oil, hooked up battery, hooked up propane, and hit start on the remote. She cranked right up. Looking forward to years of service from this generator.

We bought this after enduring 3 1/2 days without power 3 weeks ago and so we have not had a chance to use it for a power outage yet. However, it was nicely packaged, easy to assemble, and it started up quickly using the electric push start, remote start and the manual pull. We especially like the 30amp twist lock and 50amp circuits, the remote start and the data display. We also like the fact that it charges the battery as it is running. So far we are very happy with the purchase.

We bought this product after a really bad storm knocked us without power for 3 days for the second time this year. It was easy to start with the remote and we have had zero issues. We will be adding a 50amp converter to electrical box so we can run the entire house.

Ran operational test, pushed all circuits on, ran our new Samsung dryer as well. Only glitch I have found is my new Heat Pump system w Ecobee thermostat went into a self induced “calibrating” mode. I assume that system is sensitive to different power suppliers’ inputs, and it detected a difference with the WGEN supplied power! Just a theory now, will research w the Ecobee people for verification . Otherwise, all else worked w no noticeable issues!!! Great product!!!!!

I just got the generator today. I assembled the loose items (wheels and feet) and used the supplied funnel to add the oil that was also supplied. They also send a wrench to use to assemble the loose items and to use for changing the oil. The battery was not charged enough to start the generator so I plugged up the trickle charger and waited about an hour. I had already added gas and made sure the fuel was turned on. When I tried to start it using gas for the fuel source it would not start. The battery died from attempting to start it so I tried using the pull start. I pulled until I got tired and then hooked the trickle charger back up. A little while later I hooked up a propane tank and switched the fuel selector and hit the start button and it started right up. I am going to let it run for a little while so I can get a better charge in the battery and then see if I can get it running on gas. The generator looks very well built and I am excited to be able use it when I need it. Luckily I don't need it right now so I have time and patience to figure out what the issue is with running on gas.

I want to love this generator but the motor seized up after roughly 30 hours of use and I have only had the product for 12 months. I changed the oil at the recommended break in period and followed all other guidelines according to the user manual. According to the manufacturer's warranty I have to pay to ship the unit back for repairs! Now that will be expensive and seems like a punishment to the consumer.
