This unit has been in very high demand recently. I researched many options for some home standby power. I have a bulk propane system so wanted a dual fuel unit. This fit the bill. Very stout built generator. Looking forward to many years of good service.

I just received this item. I like the compact features and the dual fuel option. I haven't used it to power my house yet. I like the stated run time on a tank of gas. It is longer than other units I looked at. It also has the power to run most all the items in my house in an emergency

Generator arrived in a really nice sturdy box. Other generators I have bought have broken boxes because they are so heavy. No problems here. Easily unboxed and finished installation including installing the wheels and adding oil. Hooked it up to propane and started right up. I haven't had to use yet under a heavy load but working fine so far under a light load. Ultimately plan to connect it to a house transfer switch to power the entire house.

I've been looking for a generator for an extended period of time and when I found out about the Westinghouse product line, I was very impressed not only for how many features it had but was the cheapest on the market for its size. By far the best decision I made, tried starting it for the first time by using the remote key fob and immediately started right up. Good quality product.

I have just received this generator and have only operated it for a 60 minute break-in. It fired up right out of the box, no hesitation at all using propane. First off I would like to point out the quality that is built into this machine. The electric start is a great feature, and also including this really cool long distance key-chain remote to start and stop it from over 100 yards away. No need to weather the storm to stop or start your generator. Another great feature is the dual-fuel ability. this allows you to switch between gas or propane without even turning off the generator. no more temporary blackouts while you change the type of fuel. Includes everything you will need to start it up, (Minus you fuel choice) including a wrench, spark-plug tool, funnel, pouch, propane hose and regulator assembly and even the 1-quart 1-ounce bottle of oil. When this item arrived and was opened every thing was in perfect condition. The packaging was superior in protecting the unit. Assembly was amazingly simple and well thought-out. One of the first indicators of this machines quality is when you first lift the transporting handle to move it. It is a beefy handle with foam wrapping for comfort. The very well designed balance of this generator makes it effortless to more about. My wife can move it with little effort. The tires are large and the lift handle is strong, hefty and secure. O yeah.... the units resting feet have suction cups built-in to prevent the generator from creeping around while running on a smooth surface. I can not wait to put the this machine to work.... Purchased this 9500 dual fuel source generator in Florida for Hurricane emergencies. We have a refrigerator and a freezer full of meats that I can’t afford to lose due to a power outage. This generator was easy to set up and easy to start up on propane. Has lots of nice features including remote start. Well I’ve only had this generator for a couple of weeks and always started it up for testing purposes several times only. It appears to be a solid unit. Just realize this is a full-size generator and somewhat heavy, but it has some nice large wheels for moving around.

Everything works. I tested it out today, using propane. The electronic starter works great. It takes three times to get started, but it knows enough to automatically repeat the 2 last times, and get the engine started. Even after it had been warmed up, it still takes 3 starts. The remote start key fob works perfectly as well to start and stop the engine. Straight from the factory, the lithium-ion battery has enough joules to start the motor. After the test, I charged up the battery using the included charger. When the light on the charger changes from red to green, the battery is charged up. I am very pleased with the purchase. Now I have peace of mind in case of another deadly Texas winter freeze (as in Feb. 2021).

i bought this to replace my 3600 watt generator. purchased online so i didnt see it first, but was surprised to find it was around the same size and volume of my much less powerful generator. started right up with push button. the remote start/stop is a nice touch. the build quality is impressive. i didn't realize how poorly my old generator was built before seeing this one. everything is heavy duty, and even the finish is nice. it just looks tough. i'm having a master transfer switch installed and will use this to power much of the house if needed. hopefully i'll never need it but i am confident i'll be happy if needed.

I was happy to order this generator from a Canadian Company. I was hoping to find one totally made in North America but that is hard to find. It arrived well packaged and on time. It was easy to assemble with the tool provided. The dual gas feature is super, Wery easy to start. The only donwside is that I found it a little bit noisy. It is now connected to my Hydro panel and tested. Works nicely.

We ordered online and set it up as soon as we received it. This model has dual fuel which is awesome. If our small town doesn't have power at it's gas station we have three 30 and four 20 pound propane tanks we keep full for our camper and grill. We decided to hookup the 50 amp circuit to the house. We are not disappointed. We had 1 freezer , 2 refrigerators, AC and the pump hand come on. The generator dropped 1 or 2 volts and when the water pump shut off it came back up to 115 volts. We have not tried to run the generator on propane as yet. I am sure it will be just fine. It does come with a regulator and hose.
