I bought this item as a power backup to our home. The instructions were easy to follow in putting together and how to use. The item works great. I now have confidence that my family and I are ready if we experience the same power outages we suffered through during the early 2021 winter storm that we had in Texas.

The product assembly was easy, the shipping was prompt, and the instructions for start up were well written. The duel fuel is a life saver incase the gas stations are without power. The generator started up easily with the push button start and ran excellent. I am excited to use this product when the time comes... and that is saying something. I think this generator is the best bang for your buck

Purchased after my 20-ish year-old Generac portable generator died. After doing some research, I came across this generator, and I'm glad I did. This generator powers my 2100 sq ft. home just fine and even runs the air conditioner due to the high peak wattage that this generator can support. The amount of plugs available is great, although I only use one port to power the home. The remote start is also a nice feature too! Overall, I am very happy with this product.

Purchased the 9500 DF in July and have not used as yet. . Rating is based on quality build and components and clear information and instructions.Will be happy to give a follow up rating once the 9500DF kicks into action. Positive owner reviews and multiple articles on this generators quality and reliability were key factors in making my purchase from the many other models on the market. The duel gas and propane fuel feature will be a must as I saw neighbors scrambling to find gas at the pumps which did not function with no power!!! The test will come this winter with the increasing number of intense storms affecting the power grid.. Looking forward to hearing my generator kick into action when the power goes down.

The unit arrived in great condition with no damage. Assembled it using instructions with no problems. Added the supplied oil. Added gas and it started right up using the key fob. Tried the panel start button as well as the pull cord. All worked. Attached multiple power tools to the outlets and everything worked fine. No problem with the load. Have not tried the 220v output yet as I have no tools that use it. I did measure the 220v output and it was alive. I attached a propane cylinder to it and it started right up with that. Everything appears to work fine, just as advertised. Good product!

I DID THE BREAK IN OIL PROCEDURE.RAN ONE HOUR NO LOAD--RAN ONE HOUR 25% LOAD-- RAN ONE HOUR 50% LOAD. I WAS HIGHLY SURPRISED NOT FINDING ANY METAL PARTICLES IN THE OIL CHANGES. JUST DID A BREAK-IN ON NEW DURO MAX 12,000 AND TOOK THREE OIL CHANGES TO CLEAN UP ENGINE OIL.. HOPEFULLY THIS IS A KEEPER!!!!

I didn't have to use this for a few months. When I did, I was so thrilled. My house lost power and it started right up and kept running for hours before needing refueling. It powered all of the circuits we needed to keep us warm and safe until power was restored a few days later. The remote start feature is cool and the generator itself gives you the option of using it for a 220V circuit or 120V.

Generator is strong running with great features. I did not give it 5 stars only because I had the same issues as others did that it would not start when switched to run on gasoline. Very simple fix though! The design of the choke lever makes it difficult or rather makes it seem it’s fully choked when it not truly all the way choked. Once I pushed the choke all the way over she fired right up every time.

I purchased this Westinghouse Generator several weeks ago as a gift for my sister & niece who live in a remote area with overhead power lines. Their power goes out often in adverse weather. It had great reviews. It well designed, well made was easy to put together the few pieces required. It started right up. Her electric power hs not yet gone out but I expect will work when needed & it has enough power to power the whole house or keep them very comfortable.

Bought this generator after loosing power 3 times in 2 months and couldn't be happier with this product. The generator runs well on both propane and gas(ethanol free recommended) and the switch is nothing more than a flip of the switch. Doesn't bog down under standard load and not excessively loud. Would definitely recommend for someone who wants the versatility of the dual fuel.
