I purchase this generator to power my home. I needed one that my wife could start and not have to use a manual starter. This generator filled the need perfectly. It was easy to install the wheels and feet and everything was included and the battery was fully charged. The engine stared the first time I pushed the start button.

This generator appears very well built. Some minor easy assembly required to install wheels and supports. Other than that just add oil and fire it up on your choice of fuel. I went with this one due to longer warranty than a lot of the competitors and it has a 50 amp plug in without having to parallel multiple gens together or use special adapters

I bought this generator to power equipment while building a new house. It has performed absolutely flawlessly for hours. It has features not normally found on a portable generator, and its quality of workmanship is unmatched in the industry. I am extremely happy with this generator!

Purchased in June and received July 8th. Decided to go ahead and start up to make sure it worked. Put in gas and oil, pushed the Start button, automatically tried to start the generator, cycled twice and no start. I finally checked closer and the choke was not engaged. Corrected and pushed Start and....it started running. I love the push button start and the Key Fob Remote Start...it really works. I let it run about 15 minutes, shut it down, restarted it about 30 minutes later and it was so easy...just push the Start button or the button on the Key Fob and it started on the second try. Due to Covid-19, I am waiting on the electrician to get it installed to an outside 50 amp box which will connect it to my breaker box in the garage and will also have a special breaker installed so there will be a seamless transfer in case we have a power outage, which is likely since I live in Florida and we have hurricanes. I thoroughly researched generators for months because I have never owned one. This Westinghouse generator is highly rated and recommended. It is rated to run the house A/C as well as refrigerator, lights, etc. Will have to follow directions to properly used when I get everything installed.

Bought earlier this month based on reviews and recommendations. Have yet to get the house interlock switch installed to prepare for our Maine weather and regular power outs, but the machine is solid and easy to setup. Don’t want to say I look forward to using it but happy to have the insurance policy in hand.

After researching several generators, we decided to purchase this one. Set up was easy and it started right up after following the instructions. We love the wireless remote feature and it's easy to move around. We almost can't wait for a power outage to try it out!

I just bought this generator for emergencies and I am going to run it on propane. I do not have a propane bottle yet so I have not tried the generator yet but I do like the features. The fact that you can run it on propane is a big plus because you do not have to worry about the gas that is left in it will get stale. Stale gas in an emergency would be a big problem.

Just got this generator and followed the instructions to get it going. It was packaged well, everything was included, it looked perfect. It started right away on propane, then started right away on gasoline. Switched fuel while it was running and it barely stumbled before it was running perfectly on the new fuel. Plugged it into my 50 amp power inlet box and it ran everything from a cooktop, electric oven, electric clothes dryer, to my 3 ton A/C unit (not all at once) and they all ran perfectly. I still need to see if the 5 ton A/C will start up with this. All of my electronics seemed to work fine on the generator, but a couple of UPS's were clicking. I think I will replace those with newer ones. Love the auto choke. It's nice to be able to push a button to start it without having to fiddle with a manual choke. The remote start is a nice feature I didn't know I needed, but I think it will be quite useful to have. The wheels are big and wide making it easy to move on my grass lawn. Also, liked the U-shaped handle. It makes it easy to pull the generator with one hand while moving it into position. Overall, I have been very pleased and impressed with this generator. I would highly recommend it!

Generator arrived well packaged, undamaged and with all parts and accessories including engine oil and battery charger. Easy assembly and well written instructions. Have not run generator yet but appears ready to go out of the box after putting on rear wheels and front foots.

We recently moved to the foothills of the Sierras (Northern California). Power outages are common, so we bought a little 2,000 watt portable to keep devices charged. We are presently in the middle of an extended outage with no end in sight. My neighbor is an electrician and he told me he could wire this generator into our main so we can power the whole house with very little disruption. I had been under the impression that a whole-house generator would cost five figures. This was an absolute bargain. The only very minor quibble I have with the unit is that some of the threads for the nuts securing the feet are fouled either with paint or a manufacturing burr. I attached the feet using one bolt each but will ream them out later. For now, they're secure enough. That very minor defect is the only reason I did not give it five stars. Being able to run on propane as well as gas is a huge convenience. We will plumb it into our 450-gal propane tank but use gasoline for backup. The wireless fob to turn the generator on and off is a very nice touch. If we have future extended outages, it'll make life a lot easier.
