I setup the generator today and the whole thing took me less than 30 minutes. The build appears to be sturdy/high quality, and I like that the exhaust is covered to avoid burns. Just a few hours in, but I look forward to using this over the weekend.

Just received generator today! Added wheels, sturdy rubber feet, motor oil, gas, connected battery and she started right up using remote. Tried propane and generator ran great! Cannot wait to put to a true working test! Looking forward to many good years of service!

I bought this just a couple of months ago. On first start in a power outage it failed to turn over, which is a hard first impression to overcome. Gas line was open, tank was full, battery was full strength. In short, I followed the manual. Hopefully Westinghouse will make this right and stand behind their product, but until then, it's a hard Do Not Recommend.

Delivery to our remote home was right to the driveway! The setup out of the box was very easy - just attaching the feet and wheels. It is VERY heavy (as expected) so a dolly may be helpful. All I had to do was add the provided oil, gas, connect the battery cables, turn on the fuel switch, and here's the part that blew my mind . . . it started on the first push of the start button!! Wow, I thought I'd probably need to wear myself out on the pull start for a few minutes, but not to be. Super simple!

Can't believe how easy the assembly was! 5 minutes to put the wheels and mounting feet on. Added oil, nice touch providing the oil as well! Added gas and and fired it up. Started instantly and worked like a charm. It's obviously very well built and I expect it will give me many years of service!

I purchased this generator to replace another aging Craftsman generator that I have had since 2004. I live in Florida and need to have a reliable generator that can power my entire home during power outages. This one fits the bill. Gas or propane can power this generator. I hired an electrician to install a power box next to my electric meter and two double throw 50 amp circuit breakers in my existing power panel in my garage along with a generator interlock switch. Now, instead of running extension cords, I do the following to power my home using the Westinghouse generator. Turn off the main power switch (next to electric meter) to my home and then turn off all of the circuit breakers. Move the interlock switch to allow the generator circuit breakers to be used. Flip the two newly installed generator circuit breakers, and plug in the generator to the power box and turn it on. Then, I turn on all of the circuit breakers for my entire home one at a time. Everything in my home has power. This includes all rooms, appliances, and the central A/C unit. Way to go Westinghouse!!!

Read a lot of reviews and I think this is the right pick for me . I live where we lose power quite a bit. I have had 2 other generators over the past 10 years and never been able to run my well pump . This generator now brings a smile to my wife now that we don’t have to collect rain water to flush the toilet.

We haven't needed to use this generator yet but really needed it during last years hurricane Ian. Neither my husband nor I had the physical strength to start our old generator with the pull rope. Unfortunately we were without power for a day without a generator. We decided that we wanted something that, with a push of a button would start up. This led me to the Westinghouse brand generators. We were pleasantly surprised to find not only a push button start generator but this also came with a remote control!! This is a blessing for us who are nearing 70 years of age. We also chose the model that is also a dual fueled model....propane and/or gas. Usually during a hurricane, it's difficult to find gasoline so we thought we'd like the option to use whatever is available after a hurricane.

Set up and build seems very good. Placement of parts and placements of components seem on par for strategic and weight disbursement. You can usually tell if a engine and it's housing it built well by the sound of start up and this bad boy is built very well. Only has a 20 min break in run time and everything seems good so far and time will tell how it holds up. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because the unit I received wasn't QC'd very well. There is some welding that wasn't completed on the top of the housing cage.

Just had my generator delivered. Initial inspection was good, instructions quite easy. Attached the wheels and feet, added oil, be nice if they just said to use all of it. Added a couple gallons of fuel. Auto start and remote start very simple and fired up.
