Just purchased July 2025. Easy set up. Installed wheels and feet. Connected the battery and added the oil. Tested the generator running with propane. Started with the push button start. Held the button for 2 seconds and the generator started up. No issues. Paired the remoted start and tested the start up. No issues started the first time with the remote start. The generator does need about 5 hours of run time to break in per the owners manual. Bought the generator as a backup for potential power outages.

I bought this less than a month ago and I'm so glad I did. I live in a 1700 square foot house and this power's my whole place when the power goes out. We had a planned power outage for 6 hours and it worked perfectly for me. Kept me and my foods nice and cool. I would highly recommend this product for anyone looking to buy a generator.

After receiving this Westinghouse 9500DF I’ve been exploring the features, which are many. Dual fuel, electric start, quick connects on the battery, remote start and stop, fuel gauge, led information and hours, metal gas tank, propane hose and regulator, basic tools, oil, and even a built in trickle charger. To keep it short I’m happy with my purchase, generator is performing as expected thus far.

I bought this two weeks ago, to replace a 6500 watt generator that served well through Helene. I realized two things one my wife could not start it, and it would not run everything I needed. This appears to be perfect, meets all my needs and being dual fuel significantly improves my fuel storage options

We just recently purchased the 9500DF generator, for Hurricane season, all we had time to do is start it and test the operating system, so far everything has worked as required, the Electric start works great, and having a remote is good, I am Oxygen dependent and we feel better having a backup for my O2 equipment.

This thing has a bunch of features that I love specially the electric starter, you don't have to mess with the choke it's automatic.I hooke it up to the propane and all I have to do is touch the button and start it the first time I'm very happy with my purchase

Very easy to setup and start. Good documentation and runs pretty quietly. Got a kick out of the remote key fob starter which allows you to start and stop with the push of a button. Grok.com assured me that the WGen9500DF has enough power to power my whole 3 bedroom house and kitchen and heat pump during an outage, so I bought this beast. We shall see how it performs during the next winter storm outage up here in the PNW Seattle area. So far though, am quite impressed.

I bought this in June 2025 for my parents' home in Florida. It's now August and I have just unboxed and assembled it. That was easy enough for me a 62 year old female. Easy to connect the battery (which thankfully was still charged even after sitting a couple months) easy to add oil, easy to add gas. Not so easy: locating the fuel shutoff valve selector. Diagrams in manual do not lead you to it. I had to have someone help me on that one. Right now I am running the generator through its break-in period and have not yet put any electrical load on it. But so far so good.

Runs great and maintains power throughout power outage. Switch between gas and propane is seamless.
