Although I purchased this generator almost 3 years ago, it still work great! It's well built with quality parts. You just have to run it once every few months and follow manufacture's maintenance schedule to keep it in a good shape. I know I can count on it when it's needed.

this is my second generator. I have the portable version and out of thr box the big generator I just got fired up on the first go. Attaching the wheels was easy and even though it weighs over 200 pounds it’s manageable to move with the handle. This one will be used to run my inverter in the house.

I just received and unpacked my new generator. It was easy to set up. After the experience of dealing with Helene, I am glad I ordered this generator to give me some comfort that I will be able to weather the next hurricane/tropical storm with the help of back-up power should I need it

I've only had to use it a few times but I'm glad I have it on hand when needed. I've really only used the Propane option to fuel it as I don't want any gasoline to get stagnant in between uses, but I've been impressed for how long it will run on a simple bottle of propane that I swap from my grill as needed.

Just purchased July 2025. Easy set up. Installed wheels and feet. Connected the battery and added the oil. Tested the generator running with propane. Started with the push button start. Held the button for 2 seconds and the generator started up. No issues. Paired the remoted start and tested the start up. No issues started the first time with the remote start. The generator does need about 5 hours of run time to break in per the owners manual. Bought the generator as a backup for potential power outages.

This thing has a bunch of features that I love specially the electric starter, you don't have to mess with the choke it's automatic.I hooke it up to the propane and all I have to do is touch the button and start it the first time I'm very happy with my purchase

It looks like a generator, it sounds like a generator, it acts like a generator. It must be a generator. And a great one at that. I've had it about a month and I have ran it some to get it broken in and fluid in it. I haven't ran the 50 amp plug yet. I'm sure it works great like the others. Very minimal assembly (just put on wheels and plug in the battery). Give it fuel (I used ethanol free with fuel stabilizer). It started right up with the push button. I tried the 120v plugs and they work like I was using my home ones. As far as I can tell this is a great generator and I will ne prepared the next time power goes out. Thank you westinghouse for having an affordable trustworthy generator.

This dual fuel generator has been a lifesaver. When the storms rolled through and knocked the power out, it kept my entire house running without a problem. I purchased this generator a little over a year ago after Hurricane Beryl and finally took it out of the box 13 months later. I figured that the battery would be dead but it wasn't and the generator fired right up. I had a generator receptacle installed so I can just plug in the generator to my main panel. I am now able to run my central a/c and all of my lights, refrigerator and other accessories. This generator is a beast and has no problem powering up a 2600 square foot house. The one thing that I did was to install a soft start on my a/c unit but I'm pretty sure now that it was not needed. Solid purchase with no regrets.

I have absolutely no regrets with my decision to purchase this Westinghouse generator. At first, I was concerned with how heavy it is but after installing the two wheels even I, a frail senior citizen, can move it easily. It's easy start and runs no louder than my lawn mower. I definitely recommend choosing the dual fuel model.
