I had been searching for a portable generator for quite some time. I finally made my decision on a Westinghouse, and I am so glad I did!! This is my very first generator and I will be using it when power outages occur in our area to power up my home as a backup. Assembly was very easy to set up, and startup with LPG was very fast with no issues at all. The key fob is also a great feature!! Instructions were easy to follow and understand! This generator is highly recommended, and you won't be disappointed!!!!

My son-law bought a Westinghouse 9500/12500 late last year. He showed me all the great features and ease of operation. I had to have one of my own. With Fall & Winter just a few months away, having this generator will give me peace of mind. Thank you for a great product.

I just purchased the Wgen9500DFc this month and I haven't had a chance to operate it since I purchased it for power outages. However, with hurricane starting to move into high speed I'm sure it won't be long. Set up was extremely easy and it fired right up with no issue. I ran about a gallon of gas at start up and I was surprised at how quite the generator was while in operation. I'm looking forward to lights and cool beverages this hurricane season. B.

I just purchased this item and it arrived early. After an easy set up I hooked up the propane following the instructions and fired it up with no problems. Very simple to operate and I specifically bought this unit for the dual fuel option. I like the ease of use and hopefully I won’t need it for an emergency this year’s hurricane season.

We have been living in the forest for 9 years and decided it was time for backup power. After lots of research online and YouTube videos we chose this model because of ease of use and the ability to attach it to our current fuse box of ease of use. We have gotten it started and ran the trial break in period and by following the directions it went well. Not always easy with us. (lol) We have an electrician coming to help us out with that. Our hope it to never need to use it but this generator will be there when we need it. The dual fuel is helpful, we use propane a lot and the gas option is great for better power.

Received this generator today. Was packaged well and set up was easy. Only minor issue was that one bolt hole for the feet was not threaded well and can not get the bolt in. But I was able to make due. Tested with propane and remote start and fired up right away.

Being retired and in our first year in Florida and not knowing what to expect during hurricane season, my wife and I wanted a portable generator to help when city electric is down and not available during a storm. We purchased the WGen9500DF to power our home AC unit along with other kitchen appliances. The wireless remote allows us to stay indoors and start generator when needed and avoid the need to go outside and get wet. The designers did a good job on this unit.

I finally feel like I am protected in case our power goes out again. We live in the country so when we lose power we not only have no electricity, we have no water or toilets. I am excited that this generator will work on either gas or propane, that makes it very easy to get a fuel and store fuel for longer periods of time without it going stale. I did a lot of research and this gets very good reviews so I expect to have a good experience with it. I has good instructions that seem very clear.

This purchase is my second 9500DF. I purchased my first one a year ago and could not be more pleased. I run it on Propane. My neighbor had purchased another brand of the same size generator and was very unhappy with it. It would never start. After he saw how reliably the 9500DF started he sold his and purchased a 9500DF. I've wanted a duel fuel generator for a couple years. Our remote location as well as some of the recent ice / thunderstorms made me decide it was time. After researching several brands I landed on the Westinghouse 9500DF. It arrived today. It's well packed and came with the propane hose and even oil, which I didn't expect. Now-a-days it seems like products are shipped with teh bare basics, leaving you to run to the hardware store. That's not the case here. I also read the manual, and I have to say it's one of the better I've received in awhile. It even has a valve lash gap spec and maintenance procedure. Overall the first impression is very positive. I need to fuel up and getting it running through the break-in process.
