Purchased just in time for Hurrican Season! Have had a 3500 watt size for years, and finally decided to step it up with this beast! The best part is I will either be able to power our house with the 50a plug, or run everything in my camper! So either way it is a big win for me!!!

I had done a ton of research and ultimately landed on the WGen9500DF for my power needs. I had been looking at this generator for several months going back and forth on whether or not to buy it. After several power failures and living on a farm with well water, I decided to purchase it. So far, I haven't had to use it for an extended period of time, but at first go, I have a good feeling about this piece of equipment. It was very well packaged and protected. There really wasn't much to setup; just the feet and wheels (and they provided the 10mm wrench). It took a little to start the first time, which was to be expected, but after letting it run and break in a little, it started easily with the push button, remote control, and even the pull start. The motor runs very smoothly and consistently and surprisingly isn't that loud! I tested it a bit on some power tools and the generator barely dropped RPM's and recovered almost immediately. I have a few more tests to perform to acquaint myself with it and be ready for when I need it, but thus far, I'm very happy with my purchase. I have much more piece of mind that when the power goes out, my family and animals will be safe.

A beast of a machine and with the dual Fuel feature it will run clean with out handling the gas part. I did like that if I use gas there is a gauche to see how much gas it's in the generator. I was about to send it back when the delivery man had problems getting the generator in to my garage, so heavy. To my surprise, once the wheels and the handle were installed I was able to move that generator around with ease; I'm 79! I have a 50amp outlet installed outside, really nice machine get it!

I have had a generator for emergency power outages for years. I decided to upgrade to something that can run my entire home, and this one definitely does the job. I installed a 50-amp manual transfer switch in my breaker box and I'm no longer messing with cords or deciding what to run. This generator is extremely easy to set-up and was running within 30 minutes of being delivered to my driveway. I broke it in as recommended and it is working great. It is surprisingly easy to wheel around considering its necessary weight. The auto start is quite the luxury and will be well appreciated when I need this during a power outage in the winter months. I am extremely happy with the value of this investment.

I bought this since we do live in Florida and have power outages due to storms. This is my first time ever having a generator so I was hesitant/nervous on what to do. Instructions for this are clear and set up was easy. Glad I made the purchase to have an extra layer of protection in case of storms. Very easy to use.

Love the electric start, runs smooth and quiet, easy to move. The initial start up was easy however had to buy more oil for the first start up. Can't give it a 5 because we haven't lost power yet to use it. Pretty confident that it will provide us the power to our house when that happens. No stress if storms are forecasted. Have recommended it to my sister.

We purchased to prepare for winter season. It arrived the day before (as scheduled) the first storm of the year and paid for itself immediately. Power went out, we powered 2 fridges, 1 freezer, and a space heater - hardly a dent in the power generated from this thing. Home 50A circuit to be installed soon, this unit will be able to power at least half of our home when that is complete, including our well and septic pump keeping our home running "normal" during the next winter storm. Product arrived undamaged. Setup instructions were clear. Had it running in under 30 minutes with the included bottle of oil. Remote start feature is great, we ran it outside the basement and we can turn it on from our living room the floor above.

Easy to assemble Footings and wheel. One footing nut may have hadd paint on the treads. Initially I thought I may have cross threaded the bolt. But the nuts are welded to the frame and then painted so I think there may have been paint. We slightly difficult to identify the actual choke lever. There is a nice size sign, but the actual lever was small and behind a fuel line. A little red paint on the choke lever handle would have helped. I like the controlled start. After pushing the start button, the unit tries multiple times automatically to start. I just wait for it to finally fire up. I intentionally overloaded the unit to see what it would run. We are all electric and on a well so use lots of power. We could run the well, water heater, lights, electronics and two space heaters. We could not include the house electric heat but that was expected. One concern when overloading is the breaker did not trip, but the unit bogged down and shut off. I would expect the main breaker on the generator to trip before the unit engine overloaded and shutdown.

We purchased this generator prior to hurricane Beryl since our area is prone to outages during storms. To say we are happy with the product is an understatement! We had hooked up our fridge, deep freezer, fans, portable AC and a few other small electronics to get us through. We do plan on getting a switch on our house so we can hook this bad boy up and use it that way. Can't wait!

It is so nice to know that we have this generator in case our power goes out. Didn't have to use it last year and with the storms ramping up this year we decided to make sure all was good with it. Started right up on the first try. Really hope we don't have to use it but nice to know we have it.
