I bought this generator a couple of months ago in case we needed it. We'll, this week we finally did. April snow storm and lost power for a couple of days. The generator was easy to set up and run and instructions were very user friendly so someone who has never used one before.

I put oil in this generator today, connected the battery terminals, hooked up the propane tank hose and started it up. I don't plan to use it with gasoline unless absolutely necessary. Propane will store long term without concern for breakdown and deterioration unlike gasoline. But I like having the option to run on either in the case of several days without power. I also like the power output potential of this generator. I can use it to run my AC Welding machine with small electrodes.

Picked generator up at a great price. Delivery was simple. Had some issue with getting it started, instruction should mention it will take several tries. Tried to start it enough battery died. Charged it overnight with provided charger( great feature). Still wouldn’t start, tapped on the carburetor bowl a few times and it started right up. Turns out the float was stuck. Will be using the generator to power my house during power outages. Won’t know how well it performs until I get it hooked up. Great value and great features. Recommend it.

A great whole house backup - we've already used it a few times and it had no issues running our HVAC and well pump. Because we use well water and electric heat, when power goes out we lose everything so having a backup generator is a must. Yes, it may not be automatic, but at 1/10 the cost of an automatic it's worth it.

I bought this generator due to our frequent power outages at our cottage. When you rely on a well pump for your water, going for extended periods without power is challenging. This duel fuel generator (gas/propane) was perfect and with the potential of 50A at 240, totally fit our needs. It is manufactured well and comes with all that you need to get started like the motor oil and even tools for the limited wheel assembly required. It even comes with a remote starter fob for starting from inside the house and a battery tender so your battery doesn't loose charge when not used for longer periods of time. Love this unit and a great alternative to much more costly, true standby generator system.

I live in southeast Texas, where we are no strangers to hurricanes.I looked into all of my options to maintain power when the grid goes down. This dual fuel generator (and an electrical input on my house’s breaker box) was the most cost-effective way to not lose my refrigerator and freezer, as well as be able to power simple devices and portable air conditioner units, all while my neighbors are in the dark. Product has been easy to use, reliable, and effective. Glad I got it!

Purchased a few months ago however have not had to use it under any serious load yet. Started up a few times to start the break in process, runs well and looks very well built, very sturdy, remote start is nice touch. Only reason for 4 stars is because I have not had the opportunity to test it to its full capacity.
