Bought this Westinghouse unit to replace an old Briggs generator I had. New unit started right up and backfed my home service panel no problem Twice the power of my old unit and much quieter. Remote start/stop is very handy. Highly recommend this top of the line unit!

I spent many hours reviewing generators. Ended up purchasing Westinghouse 9,500 dual fuel. Delivered within 3 days. Unpacked, put gas and oil in. Hooked up the battery. It started immediately. The battery and oil came with the generator. My son and a friend seen it and both ordered one.

I'm replacing a non-working portable generator with this one. Just rec'd yesterday. Put it together and did test run today. Started right up. So far only tested 110v, but will test 220v this weekend. Love the electric start; especially the remote start and stop. Its heavy, but I could roll it around without issue even on gravel. Happy so far!

The set up of this generator is very simple. It only took me a few minutes to have it up and running. Westinghouse included the necessary oil and the battery was fully charged. Once hooked up to Propane it started right up and purred like a kitten. I have not tried it on gas as I only plan to use propane with this unit. This bad boy is going to power my wood shop.

I bought this generator in late June , because I had a very bad feeling about getting a bad storm this summer. Anyway, hurricane Milton hit and I live in an area where Milton hit the hardest. We had no power for 3 days This Westinghouse generator powered my entire house including the central A C !! We had to shelter in place, because my mom has severe dementia and any public shelter would have killed her. This generator ran over 72 hours constant. Its a life saver, bottom line....

Last year in February, we were caught up in the "Freeze" in Texas. We lost power and suffered thru the whole ordeal. So my wife and I decided to purchase our first Generator and I will say...The best investment we have ever made. We managed to find an 50amp outlet and plugged our house to it...works like a charm, and not only that, my wife was able to set up the generator and hook it up. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

Very happy with the machine. Only issue on set-up was getting the bolts threaded for the 2 feet. The welded nuts are not exactly thread friendly. It started and ran on LP perfectly. Only real issue was with delivery. The advanced phone call said they would call a half hour before delivery, so I planned on that. But they just showed up without a call and fortunately I was there and could take the machine. I don't know where they would have left it had I not been home at that moment. The machine may be made in Vietnam, but it has all the quality earmarks of American Made, including a very nice glossy owner's manual. I will definitely recommend Westinghouse. I have not actually used it yet.

I ordered and it said to expect the Generator by Jan 31. I ordered it on the 13th and it arrived on the 14th. "Fast" Opened it up, set up was easy, and started up without issue. Same size and weight as my old one but more than double the power! "Furious" I will do another review after a year but happy happy so far!

After having other generator that was a disappointment, we finally purchased this Westinghouse 9500 and we love it. You can power up many things with this generator and it is easy to use and easy to maintain. The gas tank on our previous generator rusted so we were scared to buy another one with a metal tank. Prior to purchasing this one we called Westinghouse and they informed us that the tank is coated and protected to it should not rust. When we received it we realized that the tank is coated so we are not worried. Thus far, I am very satisfied with this generator.

Bought this generator to replace an older unit down in hurricane country. I had problems with the shipper (XPO Logistics) getting the unit to me, but it did finally arrive after three appointments they kept cancelling. The box was damaged, but the unit inside was pristine. Assembly was simple, and after adding oil and gas, the generator started right up. I am happy with this unit, but hope I do not have to use it a lot!
