Purchased not knowing a SUPER SNOW STORM was coming just after delivery of my generator. Although I did not have time for whole house installation, I was able to use the extension cords for most items for survival. The generator was a snap to set up and get running.

We just received this generator and can't wait to get it connected to our electrical service and potentially getting the conversion kit for natural gas. Love the features like remote start and the dual fuel capabilities. The extra bonus is the free generator cover that we should be receiving after submitting this review.

the delivery company left the box outside of my barn on the driveway in the rain. they did not cover the shipping box with any plastic so fortunately i was home to run outside and struggle to get it into the barn by myself. i cant knock westinghouse for that. unboxing was simple: install 2 wheels, 2 wheel posts, connect batter cable, and add oil. dont forget to plug in your battery charger and make certain your switch is in the off position on the generator itself so the indicator light is off and not sucking juice from the battery unnecessarily. will update after i get the chance to use it. thank you,

Arrived as scheduled and in perfect condition. Set up instructions were quick and easy. This dual fuel generator fired off flawlessly using both the push button and remote start. While we have yet to put it to the test with a power outage, the test run was great. I had actually expected this generator to run louder than it actually does. Impressed so far.

I bought this generator about a month ago due to the numerous black outs our energy company has been implementing due to fires. Also want to be prepared for other emergencies such as earthquakes. The unit was delivery to my house without incident. Unpacking was easy. I decided to test the unit using propane (it also uses gasoline) since I have a number of tanks on hand that I use for outdoor fire pits and overhead lighting. Being the skeptic that I am I didn't expect the unit to start up quickly. To my surprise the generator started immediately when I pressed the button on the remote. The reason I wanted a dual fuel unit was to not to store gasoline at my house. Having sufficient propane gives me time to go and locate gasoline after the unit is running on propane. The unit looks nice and it definitely has the power to operate just about any electric appliance in my house.

I’ve been shopping for a generator for a long time. I did my research. The Westinghouse WGN 95000 DFC generator. Is the one of the most feature Rich generators on the market for the money. I would highly recommend it to anyone who searching for a powerful generator with a small footprint.

We have been without power for six days and the 4000 watt gen would keep the freezers and refrigerators going but not much else. 95° days, so.its been kinda miserable. Got this generator today (6/23) and it's a world of difference!! Can run the portable a/c, fans, and lights. Going to try the microwave later. It's a little louder than the old one, but not as loud as some of the neighbors. Runs a lot longer as well! I am going to put a transfer switch in for.the next time. This generator is a great buy! It was easy to set up,( add wheels and legs). Cranked on second try! It's heavy, had get help unloading it, but easy to maneuver with the installed handle.

I just got this generator to replace an aged Yamaha 3000iseb for emergency backup purposes. I was concerned about the potential noise level. I have only run it on propane so far, but it started easily and runs more quietly than I expected. I started it at my shop, where I plan to run it, and walked the 100 feet to the house behind the shop to ask if my wife thought it was too loud. I literally could not hear it. She was pleased.

I am not a contractor but I bought the WGen9500DF for peace of mind! I live about 1/4 mile off the road and the power to my house has been there for many, many years. I'm sure if there if there is an outage and a problem with the lines coming from the road, I would be one of the last to have it repaired. The generator was easily set up and the directions were easy to follow. It runs like a charm! Peace of mind, thank you.

Received two days ago, easy assembly right out of the box, have only used it to see how it works, how loud it was and was it as good as advertising and ratings showed. Not as loud as I expected, not overbearing. I bought it for house backup, more than enough to handle all my needs. Probably more than what I needed, but it's a beast. Glad I got it
