Wires from battery have to be connected, dump in the oil, and then gas it up. Started right up and handled everything I threw at it. Rubber caps for the outlets were a little loose and don't seem to stay on well. Also one of the wheel mounts is slightly bent but it still rolls. Other than that, it's looking good. Will use it a lot on the next few weeks.

My teenage son and I were able to complete the assembly and have the generator up and running in a half an hour. Easy to follow instructions and everything worked well. The electric start functioned right out of the box even without having to charge the battery. Planning to have it wired into my home's main electrical distribution panel. I highly recommend this generator.

I bought this last month and it has absolutely been worth it. The set up was simple and the instructions were laid out very well. The generator started up right away, and functioned exactly as promised. Switching between gas and propane was very simple and worked smoothly. I used the remote start and had no issues. The switches and plugs are very easy to read and are functional. I highly recommend this generator.

Bought a brand new Westinghouse WGen9500 and it will not start or run on gasoline. I called and I guess it’s a common problem with their new generators. They said the carburetor is probably gummed up from sitting after being tested. It says on the generator to use fuel stabilizer but they do not follow their own instructions. I asked if they use stabilizer and was told no. So I have to wait for a back ordered carburetor. Or I can return the generator for a refund or exchange. I haven’t fully tried it out to see if I would recommend to a friend so at the moment I’m going to say no. The generator will start and run on propane.

Bought this as a backup generator for my home. Came on a pallet and delivered to my garage. Opened up to assemble and being a 78 year old man can only lift so much. The unit weighs just over 200# but by turning it on the pallet, was able to put wheels on as just high enough. l then turned it a little more and could put the feet on the other end and I was ready to go. After putting oil in and gas, I found the fuel turn on valve and it started up and ran within a few seconds. Totally portable by me by myself and will hook up to the house power. Exactly what I was looking for and totally impressed by the enclosed literature and the unit. Glad I purchased this one over others.

I bought this unit to give my wife piece of mind. No need for pull start as we are both senior citizens and don’t have the strength to deal with a pull start.All hard wired in and here is to hoping we never have to use it. Thanx for the fast and easy delivery.

I bought this a couple months ago, and I have been impressed so far with how well it seems to be made. Once I finally figured out all the switches to turn on and to connect the battery, it cranked up with a charm. I was also able to convert it over to natural gas by buying another regulator. Happy so far with the purchase.

Weown a Westinghouse 7500 generator purchased previously. Works so well I am going to use it for my shop and purchased the 9500DF as an upgrade for my house. These generators are extremely efficient and reliable. Supplied all the power we needed during an 11 day power outage. We were quite comfortable the whole time. Not true for our neighbors. Ended up, the two neighbors on either sid of us were so impressed, they each bough a Westinghouse generator. One a 7500, the other a 9500DF. Love Westinghouse.

WGen9500df was delivered on may 10 2022 connected battery plug per instruction unit will not start. Tested inline fuse all checked out OK still won’t start after I contact tech support will see is unit starts waiting for 9am eastern time for office hours

I bought this a month ago, so far so good, I like the electric start. I tried it on propane and seems to preform well. I tried to use it with gasoline today and seemed to preform well. I did find a drip coming from the fuel shutoff valve. While turning it it appears to leak. the leaking stopped when it was off, however if you apply a little pressure to the valve it leaks. I'm sure it will need to be replaced in the near future, but if this is the only problem I have with it, that would be ok. Not sure if I'll do a warranty claim or contact them directly and request a new fuel shut off valve. They're simple to change.
