Arrived in great condition. Easy to assemble. Put on the wheels and feet, plug in the battery, add the oil, and push the start button. I had it up and running in less than 25 minutes. Ran it under load, it handled my well pump and electric water heater under load with no problem. The quality of construction is impressive and the remote start is a great feature. I can't say that I'm looking forward to a power outage, but it's nice to be prepared with the right equipment!

I bought the generator online, and unboxing was easy peasy! Once unboxed, there were only a few steps to getting the generator operational. Much of the guesswork was removed, and it was intelligently designed to use gas or propane. Propane is my first choice due to minimal upkeep and burns cleaner than gas. I hooked up my propane tank and used the remote starter and started immediately. I was happy about that.

I bought this 9500DF generator a month ago to replace my still good smaller 6500 watt unit. I wanted a generator that would run my whole house with a 4ton A/C unit, during power outages. When I received the unit I ran it on Propane to brake it in, a few days later I put 5 gallons of Gas in and connected it to the house. It did a very good job with no problems, It ran for 6 hours on 5gls gas, max amps with ac running was around 28amps

I haven’t had a chance to use this yet, but when I do, I’ll update. This is for home use, after Texas lost power last winter, I didn’t want to get caught without again. This generator is amazing, so far. Very little prep involved, and what there is is pretty simple. It seems to be very nice, and watching and reading what others thought, I think I made the right choice.

Bought about month ago. Had local utility company install Generlink transfer switch. Had large storm and lost power yesterday. Hooked up wgen9500df using gasoline. Worked great for about 2 hours then quit. producing electricity. Am calling westig hours will update how they handle situation

Hi, I just received the generator. Started right up on propane. Had a minor issue on gas and had to manually set the choke. Support center and live person was very helpful. Phone number right on the box. Had it started in 5 minutes. So far, very good product. FOB remote start works great.

We bought this a month ago after a recommendation from a friend who had the same model and was very happy with it. We have an 1800 square foot home and with an electrician have wired it so all we have to do is flip a switch if we have a power outage. It is powerful enough to run everything including the water heater, except the range and air conditioner.

Although you can’t really put a price on keeping your family connected and safe during a power outage, the WGen9500DFc is everything you need in a convenient, and affordable package. Simple to maneuver, 3 separate simple starting options, and the convenience and versatility of the gas and propane options are key to seamless comfort during a power outage. The range of power port options well cover any needs you might have and the overall size is not overly uncomfortable for storing. This is a well thought out product and I’m comfortable knowing I have one!

I bout one and ad to take it back. The customer support man was great even though it took six calls and waiting for a couple hours to get through. I also had to drive an hour one way to take it back. I did order another and it did work so far. I’m just now going through the breaking in the engine and oil change. I will have to update review later. One thing is, I lost a day but did decide to give them another try. That should be cause for a discount or something. It was over 200 LBS and I hurt my back loading it by myself and still paying for it!!

The generator works good. I am able to run my home's old central 3-ton AC, and more. I had an electrician put a 50 amp inlet to my breaker box. The only issue is that I need to use starter fluid (spray can) to get the engine to start when cold. I use the remote electric start and spray some fluid into the air filter when the engine starts turning over, and it starts. When warmed up it starts on its own. I like the fact that it comes with a battery charger. Every couple of months of storage you should charge the battery for 8 hours. I like the remote start. If I want, I can start and stop the generator from inside my house.
