Replaced a 14-year-old 8000/5600 generator with the 9500DF and WOW what a difference. I went from 30amp house panel input to 50amp house panel input and can now run multiple high draw amp items without tripping internal generator breakers. Quality of item, electric start, included battery charger, included propane hose are fantastic. Two friends have seen the generator and my panel setup and are buying one of these.

Received two days ago, easy assembly right out of the box, have only used it to see how it works, how loud it was and was it as good as advertising and ratings showed. Not as loud as I expected, not overbearing. I bought it for house backup, more than enough to handle all my needs. Probably more than what I needed, but it's a beast. Glad I got it

Just opened it and the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The quick start guide is very helpful. The user manual comes in English, Spanish and French. It is also very detailed and thorough. It even comes with a parts breakdown and electrical schematics. Overall very pleased with my purchase and I would buy again.

Bought this a month ago and after installing a 50amp breaker with quick connect this works perfectly. Had to use it recently during hurricane season and was pleasantly surprised that the generator-powered my entire house to include AC. The ability to use propane is why I bought this unit and makes it even more reliable during storage. I would definitely recommend to anyone on the fence.

I bought this generator for my RV. I started investigating and found I could also use it for my house with a transfer switch. I am able to use gasoline and propane with this unit. It has a fob to start it up along with a the start button on the unit. Great generator!

Nice looking unit. Have not used it as of this review. Unit is as described. Installed wheels and landing gear to make portable. Came with all manuals, ancillary parts. Shipping company was very accommodating, courteous and professional. Hoping I never have to use it. ;)

After reviewing generators from different vendors I settled on this one. I'm very satisfied with my choice. Both modes of fuel work very well. Started first time with no issues. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the gas take gauge does not work, but that's a minor issue.

I purchased this to run my Miller 50A Arc Welder in the field and also to double as a whole house backup generator. Its not too heavy, I can carry it in the bed of my 2017 Ford F150 using ramps to get it in and out. Not too heavy to need a second person. Very happy with the purchase.

I own a smaller Westinghouse generator which we use at the deer camp. I was so pleased with its performance and ease of use, a larger Westinghouse generator for whole house backup seemed an obvious choice. The WGen9500DF, in addition to the convenient dual fuel capability, also supports the Westinghouse Smart Switch. Automatically starting the generator and transferring critical loads to backup power, gives me peace of mind that my home will be well taken care of when I am away on business. Anyone in the market for an emergency generator could not go wrong by purchasing any of Westinghouse' fine products. I look forward to many years of trouble-free operation.

Bought this unit in August, been testing it monthly and finally got our Generlink Transfer Switch MA24-S installed last month. Did a test run and it looked good. No heat or air. Would be nice to know how much load is being placed on the generator by having some sort of indictor. Mainly want it to run the fridge, freezer all the lights etc and it seemed to be doing well in that arena.
