I bought this generator for my single home, and even though I have not tested in full charge, I run it the first and started without hesitation. I recommend this equipment without a doubt. It would be great that the battery charger could be also a maintainer.

I bought following our hard February freeze in Texas. My 4000 watt gen served us we'll, but gave us the insight to go larger. After much review of available sizes, features and brands, bought the 12500 watt Westinghouse generator. After it arrived, I had it running on both propane and gasoline in about 20 minutes. It is a high quality product with the features (12,500 w, dual fuel, electric start, remote start) that I want for that next coming disaster on Gaveston Island. Highly recommended.

Product was received in just a few of days (2 weeks ahead of schedule). Delivered on a pallet in my garage. Simple install for wheels and front rubber supports. Added the supplied oil and ready for a test run. Tested on propane, pressed the button and started almost immediately. Loaded with a 12000watt a/c and other appliances (not nearly fully loaded). Looks to be powerful and ready for the next hurricane. Trickle charger a nice bonus.

I've owned multiple generators over the years but this one is by far the most superior generator I've ever bought. The dual fuel option along with the remote start make it in my option the top of the line option available to purchase for home emergency power. I highly recommend to anyone unsure which option to go with if you are searching for a stand by generator.

Great generator! Purchased the Westinghouse 9500DF, a friend recommended this one. He said his lasted 11 days on only 2 tanks of propane during Hurricane Ian! Tested with propane and remote and it started right up.ran our AC unit, lights freezer and fridge with ease. It gives me peace of mind to know I’ll be ready for the next hurricane. This generator is the way to go due to the low cost and ability to auto start when power goes out. The propane fuel keeps the gas carburetor clean if you only use the propane. This way you don't have to worry about gasoline becoming bad in the carb.

Somehow was able to get this when generators of this size were very scarce (post storm, power out for days to thousands of homes.) It came with everything needed to get started, and clear directions for break in period, oils change info etc. One VERY minor suggestion: since the maintenance schedule calls for first oils change after 24 hours of run time or so, AND since manual recommends replacing the oils drain plug crush washer…. It would be super helpful if they tossed a couple of those in. Super cheap, and even though 20-25 hours run might seem like plenty of time to obtain one of these washers…. If the power is out for days…. You would reach this in 2 days if you were only running half time. Just a small consideration. Otherwise, happy overall

After Austin, TX experienced a freeze in February that left my house without power for two full days, I did some quick research and when demand eased a bit, I bought the WGen9500DF. Very pleased that it runs my central A/C (3 tons) and everything else in my house. I’ve seen a couple of reviews with complaints about starting issues, etc. Mine started the very first time, and has started easily every time. I’d guess I’ve fired it up a dozen times, maybe more. Fantastic! Even my electricians were impressed with the features and performance of this generator. It powered my 3.5 ton central A/C and a few other nominal circuits. However, the A/C is not my primary intent, as that was only to see if it could…and it did. I have a portable A/C & heater that I will plug if needed, rather than using central A/C

Just had this delivered after the big Texas freeze a few months ago. The build quality is very impressive as are all the features. Super easy to assemble out of the box and the included parts and oil are a huge plus. Wish i would have ordered this sooner

Worked perfectly out of the box! I read the quick start instructions, got it set up and running in about 30 minutes. Hooked it up to my generator inlet box, it ran the house just fine. I'm sure I will have to cycle certain appliances on and off, but it has plenty of power to run the necessities.
