The generator arrived without incident and the delivery agent placed it in my garage as requested. A suggestion for the instructions... when unpacking it is helpful to slit the box at all 4 corners and that allows a cardboard cushion for tipping the generator on end to install the 2 feet and the wheels. This save wrestling with the weight of it. The assembly including adding oil went well. Connecting the battery was as simple as placing the connector together. The startup worked perfectly and the remote setup worked as documented. Connecting a 50 amp power cable to the generator was a bit of a tussel given the diameter and close clearance between the socket and the wheel but everything came together and functioned perfectly. The next step will be a load test to determine exactly which household circuits I can energize refrigerator, water heater, a/c units etc and the associated trade offs. Overall I am pleased with my purchase and the installation. The generator could be a little quieter but for the price we will put up with the noise... can't speak for the neighbors of course. I hope this is an insurance policy against having a hurricane show up on our doorstep.

Purchased to replace a similar generator. I love the versatility of the propane or gas functions. The remote start is fantastic. I can be in the kitchen and start it up. Don't forget to plug in the battery maintainer that came with the unit because you have to have the power switch on to use the remote start. Tested the generator as soon as I put oil in it. Started right up on gasoline. Always remember to turn the fuel off and let the carburetor run out of gas before walking away or storing this generator. Hooked up to propane and let it run for several hours with it furnishing power to my home. I have a 5000 watt heater along with the usual appliances and it handled the load wonderfully. All in all, a great product so far. Just hope I don't have to use it so often. Would definitely recommend to a friend or family member.

i bought this for emergency electric power since our place is having more episodes of power black outs. I went for Westinghouse brand since they have a good reputation :Good & reliable products. The generator started easily on the first try (propane fuel). Outlets provided are more than sufficient:20,30,50 amps . The only issue i had was on how to measure the oil level ,since the instruction say NOT to screw in the Dip stick.The recommended amount of oil will only show at the tip of the dip stick.The noise Generated is on the high side (below 100 decibels) , but will be tolerable ounce outside doors & windows are close . Maneuverability good.

The item is heavy and I do recommend to have two people to work on assembly. The the process to add legs and wheels took about 10 min, it took me another 10 min to add oil and connect propane tank. I also charge battery for another 10 min, but it wasn't necessary - in 30 min I had my generator up in running. Also, I was pleasantly surprised how compact the item for the power its generate.

So far we have not had to use this generator and it is only 2 months old. The only reason it has 4 stars is because I cannot rate how well it actually works. I wanted to review how we moved this to a second floor. We have an elevated house (live in a flood area) and needed to carry it up a good flight of stairs. It was not bad with four people (2 are young teens). It was the thing we were worried about the most and it was pretty easy. It was easy enough to move it around on flat surfaces too.

The generator was so simple to put together. W9500DF wow it comes with a portable plug to charge to battery if needed and located right on the panel. Bought this for future hurricanes to power the home items needed without hassle. Remote start super great.

I received this 3 days ago and it was in perfect condition… unboxed and assembled easily and today I hooked up the propane tank, filled it with gas and stabilizer. Pushed the start button and Bam !! This generator is exactly what I was hoping for. The only thing I haven’t tried is 240v 50a and 30a but I did use the 30a socket for 120v and just like the rest of this unit, it works Beautifully.. I switched between gas and propane flawlessly…I even use the remote start from inside my home, through 2 walls, and it will start and stop the unit without fail… so far, I’m 100% positive that I made the right choice!! I bought this unit as it is Dual Fuel, it has good reviews and am able to run 50 amp cord (not included) directly to my house panel through new installed 50 amp inlet. Hooked up to propane tank and started immediately through electric start key fob. ran for 30 minutes perfectly. A great unit for our Hurricane outages!.

Bought it weeks ago and the set up is really fool proof. Put the wheels on myself. No hassle. Leave the cardboard around the unit so it doesn't get scratches. Comes empty so no leak worries. Love that it comes with oil and funnel. Put the whole thing in. I had to YouTube that. It should have a tag. Hooked it up to the propane yank and vroom it started. So far so good
