I purchased the WGEN9500df Generator as a backup for my home on June 01, 2021. I was expecting a lot from this powerhouse since the reviews were very positive on the features and the electrical output. I got what I expected. I fired this unit up and was soon running most of my house on generator power including my pool filter and equipment. The generator was plugged into a 30 amp transfer switch and if I feel inclined to do so, I can swap out that 30 amp for a 50 amp switch. The only advice I can offer is do not give up trying to start it the 1st time with gasoline. In fact, the initial start took so many tries with gasoline, I was ready to call Customer Support. It finally kicked over and I gave it a through test run. When done with my test, I ran the carburetor dry and let it sit for 6 weeks. It now fires up on the first push of the start button every time. This generator comes with all the features including remote start, the wheel kit, a mounted fold down handle and the duel fuel option. This is a well thought out machine for power and convenience. I live in Central Florida on the coast and I am ready for whatever nature throws this way. I am very happy with this purchase.

Bought this 15 ago after a 3-day power outage. While there are more powerful generators available, they price starts to increase steeply. Did my math and 9500W is enough to keep my house on during emergencies (except heavy utilities, like the oven), which is good enough for me. Nice generator, easy to carry and having dual fuel seems like a bonus to me just in case I run out of gasoline.

Purchased this generator a month ago. Easy to assemble (put the wheels on, put the oil in - that's it!). Quite heavy, but with the handle and wheels, quite easy to maneuver around. Using this as a back power source for house during power outages, and as a power source when on extended camping trips. Have had to use it twice this winter already. The dual fuel feature is a godsend! Since it is not used often, I do not use gasoline in it as that would go bad over time. Hooking up the LP tank is super easy - just like hooking up a BBQ grill. Another great feature is that, during power outages, when we need the power, we can start it from inside the house with the push of a button! Once Spring rolls around, I will be building a shelter for this generator - it's going to be around a long time!

Lost power for 4 days due to remnants of Hurricane Ida. Was determined to avoid this problem in the future. My new generator was just delivered today. Waiting for electrician to connect everything. Right now, I have it paced just inside my garage door so that it can be rolled out when needed. Hopefully, I can move it! Will update this review once everything done and after first use.

This generator seems very well made. The assembly was easy, and the directions were clear (except for showing the handle used to lift and move the generator, which is great, but I didn’t see it at the beginning). It started right up on propane. Have not yet tried gas. Loved the electric start. Not sure about the value of the remote start for my use case, but I may change my mind in actual use. Outlets look solid, and there is a good range of configurations available. I would give it 5 stars if It were quieter. It is probably quieter than most in its class, but still noisy. I purchased this generator on 9/26 with an expected delivery date of 10/12—by some miracle it got delivered the day after I purchased it (on 9/27) and Hurricane Ian hit our area on 9/28. We’ve been using it for 3 days now to power most of our house (not the central AC but it could power a window unit if we had one with the rest of our house)—plus in addition to our house we are running the refrigerators of both of our neighbors without any problem! It starts without issue and runs great. Excellent purchase!! We still don’t have power and don’t know when it will be restored but this generator has been fantastic through it all.

I was looking for a good deal on a reliable generator and found this one. Love the dual fuel option, it shipped quickly and in good condition, and only needed basic assembly (attaching wheels and two foot stands.) Started immediately the first time (used propane.) Appreciate the remote start. Not as loud as other generators. Definitely recommend.

My father purchased this generator for me so that in the winter, if we lost power, I could still run the central propane heating system and essential electric needs. After connecting to propane line, it started right away and ran smoothly. I ran the house electricity with it for the 5 hour break-in period with the hot water heater turned off so as not to draw too much current. It did a fantastic job of keeping my gas heat and electrical appliances running.

Honestly just bought this and am leaving this review now because while I’m registering the warranty it was an opportunity to get a free cover if I leave a review. Hopefully later after I’ve tried it out and used it awhile I can do a follow up. But so far I love it. Very well made and heavy, which to me means solid and substantial, what I think a heavy duty generator should be. Very pleased so far!

Unboxed unit which was well packaged and secure. Individual items like oil, tool pack, instructions manual, etc were in sealed bags. Filled with oil, and adequate amount of gasoline, checked battery after connecting plug-ins. Pushed start button after turning engine over by pull rope to lube engine, started up immediately. Ran until gas was depleted and electrical outlets tested with lights as load. Very satisfied with purchase, seems to be ready for backup duty in the event of our next power outage.
