I am getting my family ready for the hurricane season and finding a generator to connect to our transfer switch was of top priority. Having a propane option was a must for me for the reason that it stores over time better. We are very happy with this generator and I love the remote start option.

Purchased this a week ago for our mobile woodshop. Works great. Haven't had much luck with the remote start yet. It works, but I usually have to hit the manual choke for it to start so trying to start remotely doesn't do much for me, but having a remote shutoff is nice!

Bought due to all the power outages we've experienced over the years due to storms, cars crashing into poles (with transformers), etc. Had a transfer switch wired in by electrician, so I can power all essential circuits of the house without putting linemen in danger. Hurricane Iaissia coming this week, so we'll see how my plan works out.

I bought this generator in June 2023. It arrived undamaged, and was easy to assemble. It started up on the first try using the push button ignition. Follow a short break in period, I push a load on it and it worked as advertised. While I hope not to have to use it, it is comforting to know that I will have the necessary power if and when needed

I bought this unit to run our new home during outages. I did a lot of research and found this unit to be the biggest watt dual fuel available. We tried it out now that I have the cable, discoonnect and separated plug to safely power our home. 50Amps will only run so much, with a freezer and frig, leaves enough for lights, a well pump, and the septic pump. No AC, but we have a working fireplace. Would have given 5 stars, but the unit is loud AND heavy, 200lbs+.

I purchased this 9500 DF at the recommendation of our electrician. It has been a lifesaver in more than five hurricanes running smoothly every time. it ran a 3 1/2 ton HVAC. And two freezers and an espresso machine without skipping a beat. Amazingly, after hurricane Helene, She was found 3 feet underwater salt water.!!! We were panic, stricken, as that was our only power source for the foreseeable 5 to 6 days! Amazingly, we cleared out the air intake the carburetor and drained all the salt water from the muffler spring anti-corrosive spray throughout the machine. She ran there after for six days with hurricane Helene and is still running today as I write this with hurricane Milton damage. The to the machine has been the corrosion of saltwater on the wiring, and we have been able to splice fresh wiring and keep her running. We will purchase West gen Generators for all of our properties, They are built bulletproof! Only thing I would changes and recommend is putting marine grade wiring for saltwater environments, but other than that, kudos to the people in the factory that built these!

I have never owned a generator before but after being without power or water for 7 days as a result of a bad storm that had to change. Found the quality of this to be great built very solid and easy to use for a first time experience with a generator this has been a great one.

I am a licensed electrician and I recommend this product to all my clients . The generator has multiple receptacle configurations for small or medium to larger homes and meets most of my clients needs . I like the dual fuel feature for those that want to use propane the simple hookup and operation are easy and the fact that Abby tank of propane does not go bad sitting in storage .If you can fill your lawn mower with gas than you can fill this as well . The WGen9500DF generator from Westinghouse is a great value for the high quality construction and load capacity. A 45 minute test run worked very well hooked to a 100 lb. propane tank. I look forward to having it on hand to run a couple of refrigerators, lights, air, etc. the next time our power goes out for several days.
