Purchased this generator for the winter nor’easter season in coastal New England. Hooked up a propane tank from my grill, pressed one button and off it went. Ran steadily for a few hours to break in the engine and still have propane to spare. Love the remote so that I can start it from inside. Very heavy but very easy to move with the sturdy handle. Great portable generator!

I bought it this past week, and the install was easy and clearly instructed. I tested the system and it started right up. I never thought I’d be excited to have a power outage. I really appreciate all the features on this model and for a great price. Came with everything needed to even install the wheels, change spark plugs, and the oil.

Bought it to replace an older generator, great move right before Isaias came through, and now they're sold out or nearly twice the price from resellers. Looking forward to not having to mess around with gas any longer since it has the duel fuel option, but maintains the ability to use gas if the propane runs out.

Weown a Westinghouse 7500 generator purchased previously. Works so well I am going to use it for my shop and purchased the 9500DF as an upgrade for my house. These generators are extremely efficient and reliable. Supplied all the power we needed during an 11 day power outage. We were quite comfortable the whole time. Not true for our neighbors. Ended up, the two neighbors on either sid of us were so impressed, they each bough a Westinghouse generator. One a 7500, the other a 9500DF. Love Westinghouse.

I've only used it a few times but this generator seems solidly built and has all the bells and whistles I can think of. Switching between fuel sources worked like a charm. I did notice one of my sets of LED lights flickered when under generator power, but some others (also LED) did not have that issue. From what I can tell this is normal with some sensitive devices on this type of generator so should use caution with computers etc. I'm happy with the purchase overall and it's good to know I can run just about anything in the house with the power it delivers.

Great unit, well built, but ever since new it has not been able to start with the remote without manually applying the choke (Which is kind of pointless for a remote?) and it seems to "surge" when running? It isn't a smooth idle it revs up and down, not sure if this is normal?

Just purchased this machine after suffering through separate power outages. Dual fuel and remote start should come in handy. Would be great to have the ability to run from an auxiliary fuel tank. Pick point and amp meter would put this over the top. Will rate 5 stars when it pulls us through the next outage.

I cannot rate the performance of generator as I have not yet fired it up and tested however, the ease of set up was amazing. I am a single woman and was able to follow the instructions and get wheels and base installed in a matter of 10 minutes. I will be firing it up tomorrow to see how it actually works, but was pleasantly surprised that I was able to set up on my own. Living in south florida and with the predictions of upcoming hurricane season, I wanted a backup generator to my generator. Now I have two in my garage and hopefully never have to use either, but it’s definitely peace of mind.

We got this generator right after the 2021 freeze in Texas, and right before the hurricane season. We have it wired right in to our Mainr Breaker panel, and It has plenty of power to run all our essential appliances, and with some breaker control, even our 4 ton AC!. Putting it together was simple, and it fired right off. The dual fuel option is great, since it gives us more options for fuel, plus doubles our fuel capacity, without haivng to fill the garage with gas cans

Lost power second day after bringing it home, set up was straight forward and easy, started on first attempt. It plugged directly into our house after setting the manual transfer switch to correct position and ran as expected for 6 hours until power was restored.
