After extensive research I purchased the Westinghouse Generator 9500 Dual Fuel to use to run an air conditioner and refrigerator in case of power failure. I have not used it extensively for those items but have tried it out in my shop and it performed as expected and advertised. The dual feature was a big selling feature.

We upgraded from our 3500 champion generator after much research we decided on the Westinghouse 9500 fuel picked it up today very happy with it. Everything was included. Instructions were very simple and easy to follow. Unit started right up produce the power much easier to operate than our old generator very happy with our Decision

This thing is a beast. Unbelievable for the price. I haven't powered anything major with this however unpacking was a breeze and the same for putting the wheels and feet on. Charged the battery, added oil, hooked up propane tank. Started right up and seemed to run perfectly. It's actually much quieter than I expected. Seems well built.

Just purchased and set up, directions were easy to follow which made it a snap. Even setting up the remote fob easy to do and everything worked from the first push of the button. I plugged in my shop vac and it didn't skip a beat, I then plugged in vac/shredder and vacuumed up the remaining fall leaves. We are currently renting so I won't be adding a transfer box until we are in our own home. Out of the box this is a great product, hopefully after some general use it will remain the same.

I researched portable generators, and this one came in with top reviews and ratings. Based on a recommendation from my electrician, I needed a good 50-amp generator. I glad I purchased this make and model. In case of an emergency, I know I can count on this generator to get me through a power outage. Will also come in very handy on trips in the RV.

I purchased this generator as a backup in case of occasional power outages we have been experiencing. It has enough power to supply all the energy I need to get most of my home appliances running as normal. Having an option of gas or propane is a big plus! The generator is well made, and easy to operate.

I had trouble getting power on the outlets (unit started fine). Put in a ticket and got a response from tech support. They sent me a new AVR. As I was swapping out the old one, I noticed one of the wires was not connected to anything (red wire). I guess it was knocked loose somewhere along the way. I reconnected it, fired up the generator and now it appears to work fine. I'll give it 4 stars now since I don't have any data on reliability.

I bought this generator to upgrade from my pull to start old one. This one is an upgrade, I can start it with the start button or remote start. It is a little heavy, but after installing the tires it is easier to move around. It is also a little noisy, but my neighbor’s car, truck and music are noisy too. I can run the generator to cancel out their noise. We lose power often thats why I need a generator, this year we lost power for 12 hours, I can fill up the gas tank and run the geo for that long. On one occasion we lost power for 2 days and we lost all of our food from the refrigerator and freezer. We ended up spending about $500.00 to replace all the food, so investing on a generator is a good idea.

Due to the high possibility of hurricanes this year, living in south Florida a generator was a must. Started researching generators.. . over and over I saw this one recommended. I ordered it and had an electrician install plugin for the cord on my meterbox. Once set up, it ran like a top. I especially like the duel fuel option. I pray I won't need it, but it gives me great peace of mind if I do.

I bought this at the end of last years hurricane season and just broke it in for the next one. I've run it for about 3 hours on propane in my break-in cycle and changed the oil a couple of times. The only assembly was attaching the wheels and feet which only took a couple of minutes. I took the spark plug off to put a bit of oil in so I didn't dry start and that was easy. I also changed the oil a few times inbetween cycles which was also easy. Started right up the first time each time. Your not going to fit a standard oil pan under it and it is a bit to heavy to lift for an oil change. I just used a small rectangular piece of Tupperware that was looking rank anyway and it worked great.
