I purchased this email after using my sister Westinghouse 6500 generator that we used for two different power outages. Since we have purchased this generator, we have not had to use it. When It was easy to put together but at the end of putting it together, I missed the item about putting the quick connect on the battery. Then tried to start it at a different time and it would not start so I was checking trouble shooting items and did not see this noted. I finally called the 855 # and got a case #. I reread the operation & maintenance again and did not find anything that I was doing wrong. Then I went back through the assembly portion of the user manual and notice the last item was to put the quick connect together on the battery. After doing that the unit started right up. Now we are all set for the next power outage.

I am not a contractor but I bought the WGen9500DF for peace of mind! I live about 1/4 mile off the road and the power to my house has been there for many, many years. I'm sure if there if there is an outage and a problem with the lines coming from the road, I would be one of the last to have it repaired. The generator was easily set up and the directions were easy to follow. It runs like a charm! Peace of mind, thank you.

Delivered sooner than was anticipated. Instructions were simple and easy to understand. Truthfully, I am hoping I will not have to use it for power outage. However, we will now be set if we lose power on the home. Plus when spring comes we will use for the power tools to build the greenhouse.

As a female this was my first generator out of the box and after following the easy instruction manual it started with the push of the remote. I just bought this generator. It was very easy to assemble. The generator started up on gasoline easily the first time. It’s a powerful generator with great reliability reviews at a reasonable price. I am looking forward to many years of use from this generator.

Bought this a month ago after having an earthquake. Thought it was time to have some backup power for when the big one hits. Generator works great. Easy installation and fired right up. Note: the quick start guide fails to mention turning the fuel valve on at the front of the machine in addition to turning the fuel source know to gasoline on the side. Once I realized that, it fired right up.

This is a very cool and techy generator. It powered the majority of my electrical equipment. Examples - mid size refrigerator, lights, portable oven and charged up my phones. It was very handy this past week. I was glad I had it and after assembly, it cranked right up and I used the remote starter. I highly recommend it! Remember, this is just another temporary replacement of your home electricity provider. It's there to help you with your essential needs during emergency and not power up the entire house including a/c or heat along with all the major appliances you have within your house. 😉

I bought this six weeks ago in preparation for the upcoming hurricane season. It is a beautiful machine, easy to set up, easy to use. I love the propane gas feature. Makes me feel safer when storing fuel. I wish I could report that I have put it to the full test but I have not owned it long enough, and I certainly pray that I never have to use it.

Just purchased after a great deal of research. Took almost ten days to receive, but was in no hurry. Unboxing and addition of legs and wheels was easy by just tipping the unit on its side. Set up and start was easy using LP tank. Started right up. 50 amp plug and interlock are added tomorrow. Great start and I hope I don't need to use it in the near future.

I just purchased this generator and I must say the features are great. Set up was a little difficult. Definitely a 2 person job (please don't use your wife) unless she is a body builder because this monster is heavy. After everything was assembled, pour in gas, stabilizer and oil. Flipped the switch and pushed the button, she fired right up after the third cycle.
