Purchased online, delivered in just a couple of days. Very Happy! However, I need to order an Altitude Carburetor & Propane Kit for 6000 ft altitude or the Generator is useless without it. That’s fine, they are unavailable / sold out!! Am very hopeful that customer support can send me the kits ASAP otherwise I have purchased a nice generator that I can not use!! Fingers crossed! I have heard good things about these generators but obviously I can not try mine until I get the High Altitude kits. Therefore I rate as 3 stars but hopefully I can up this to 5 stars soon!

I bought this after the last storm put out power out for 8 hours, just as I was starting to cook my dinner. It's the perfect size to power what I need when the power goes out for a few hours. I dont worry about freezer items thawing, I have power to the water pump, and I can cook with the lights on.

Living in Florida a generator is an essential back up solution. When hurricane Ian came through, my home was affected and I was without electricity. I installed and ran the generator up and it was able to power my home. I was surprised at how much of a load I was able to put on it and the noise level. Several of my neighbors were impressed by it and I was even able to charge up some of their devices and an rv fridge. If you live in an area where you have frequent power outages, this is the generator to get, you won't be disappointed with the power, features, noise level and performance.

Bought it last month in case of outage this winter. Liked how easy it was to put together, put the legs and wheels on in about five minutes. Filled it with the oil provided put about a gal of gas hooked propane and started after carburetor filed with gas, easy to switch from gas to propane.

I will admit I have not had a chance to fire it up yet but it is everything I thought it would be. Ease of set up, all the power I should need at this point, and if everything works correctly ( and I have no reason to believe it shouldn't ), it is an excellent purchase. Also arrived on time with no issues.

started looking for generators and the Westinghouse ones seemed to be some of the highest rated by online reviews. I want one to be a manual switch backup for our house when we lose power. I went with the Wgen9500DF. I knew they must be pretty popular because they were sold out everywhere. Finally, months after searching regularly one became available and I scooped it up. So I received it a short time later. Box came in good condition. Directions are good. I went ahead and tested it using both gas and propane and it started and ran fine on both. That's where I have to stop the review though as we have not had a power outage to test it out. It seems like a nice unit though.

We purchased this model generator to use as a stand by power source for our home. It runs everything in our home with ease. We have gas appliances. The 9500 DF runs furnace, lights, freezers and refrigerators along with bathroom and ceiling fans. The only thing that makes it flinch is the central air but the AC is not a priority to us. Westinghouse was not even on my radar for a portable generator until I researched deeper. Westinghouse has good reviews, longevity, and competitive prices. The generator runs very well and we are at 5600 feet elevation. The way I understand it, at 3.5% derate per 1000 feet of elevation above sea level the 9500 Watt rated generator is producing an actual Watt rating around 7638 Watts. Even at less than optimal output we can run our home on gas or propane.

Purchased this a few months ago for Hurricane season and it looks like I will need it in a few days so tested today. I have a 3 ton and 2 ton A/C units at the house and the generator ran both units along with all essentials in my house and did it with propane. This thing is a beast and does exactly what I needed it to do

I bought this after the "Big Freeze" in Texas Feb 2021. I love all of the features this generator brings with it. It has the Key FOB to start it with. It has the auto start feature, in case you want to buy the extra box and run the cables for that. You can even pull start it in case the onboard battery should happen do run down. There is a meter on the side which gives you a read out of voltage, frequency and hours. It was a breeze to set up once it got here. I just put the rear wheels on it, front feet and filled it with the included oil. They even gave you the funnel! I made a few final checks and then I was ready to go.
