We just purchased this generator based on the excellent reviews it received. We were not disappointed! Set up as per directions with no issues, started without problems using a propane tank. Would be difficult to operate at full load as it ran without any problems using two window A/C’s, freezer and two refrigerators and a hot water heater. Plenty of use for additional items.

I bought this for a backup for my home which loses power too often. It is powerful enough for its size and has some nice features like the wheels and handles that don't always come with other generators, as well as the remote start. The fact that it runs on dual fuel is also a plus if you run out of gas you can switch over without missing a beat.

Received generator in perfect condition. Very nice build quality. Hooked up to propane and fired right up. I'm impressed with the owner manual that came with it. It was one of the most informative manuals I have seen for equipment. We will be using the generator for when the power company shuts off the power for fire danger.

I purchased this due to the Winter storms in Texas in 2021. We’ve also had more outages with no explanation from power company. With working from home I needed the backup. Setup was easy to follow and everything started up as expected. Still testing but everything is working as expected so far. Very happy with purchase.

We bought this for the upcoming hurricane season and tested it yesterday. Got the oil and gas in, and hooked up the battery. Took two tries with the electric start button, but that was because the gas had to get through the fuel system. Started right up on the second press of the button.

So far I’ve put the generator together and run it for a couple of minutes. The electrician is installing my transfer switch now, and I’ll give it a test with the new generator. I’m very impressed with the sturdy construction, quality parts, and that everything but a cord was included to get me going. If the generator performs when it’s hooked up like it has so far, it’s easily a 5-star product.

We bought this generator for a dual purpose, home backup and for dry camping in our 42' fifth wheel camper. the auto start feature is awesome, as is the auto choke, for when needed. with the dual fuel capabilities, we can use it on propane when in our camper, or with gasoline while in a standby mode for power outages at home. The different outlets and amperage available allow us to access the power we need,anytime, anywhere. The handy battery charge/ maintainer was a pleasant surprise, as there will be times where it will not be used, and keep our battery up. the pull start feature lets us have power available, in case of a battery failure. Long running times on either gasoline or LPG is one of many reasons we selected this model. the Westinghouse name, reputation, and reviews sealed the deal for us!

Product was shipped in great packaging and had all pieces with it! Runs great and powers everything I need it to. It came with a handy portable tool kit, an oil fill funnel, and the propane connector hose as well. Price is more than reasonable compared to similar generators.

After researching many generators available in the marketplace, I decided that the WGen9500DF is the one that checks all the boxes for what I need now and for what I may eventually need in the future. Currently my home is wired with a 30 amp panel box, but this unit allows me to consider upgrading to a 50 amp setup instead. Also I like the flexibility of running on gas or propane. The generator is well-built, very sturdy, and looks great in the garage. It even operates at a lower noise level than others units with comparable specs. The difference in noise output between two loud machines may be minor, but every little bit helps! Westinghouse also stands behind their product with a 3-year warranty and lifetime tech support... Final impression - After moving to Florida, I purchased this generator to be a home backup unit for storm-related power outages. Hopefully I won't have to use it often, but I'm confident that it will meet all expectations whenever the need arises.

As I was looking for a portable generator for my home. I first purchased a Generac and returned it because of how loud it was and it kept stalling out. I then search Westinghouse and there was nothing but positive reviews. I purchased a WGen9500DFc, I installed all the components and started the unit. I was amazed how quiet it was and the push button start was the icing on the cake. I can hardly wait until we lose power so I really can put this beast to the test.
