I purchased this generator as a portable, whole home backup whenever we lose power. The user manual was very easy to read and understand, and after adding oil, gas, and following the start instructions, I had a full functional machine! I am looking forward to the first Midwest ice storm this winter that knocks out the power!

Setup was easy and remote was already synch to the generator. I researched many generators and this one was the best deal. Starts up easily and runs on propane. Has 30 and 50 amp. I am having a lockout and 50 amp plug installed. The tech looked at the generator and was impressed with size and run time.

I read a ton of reviews before the purchase. This a beautifully built generator that is easy to use and start. Simple to switch fuels and for a large generator it is relatively quiet. I am very happy I paid a little more for this quality generator.

I purchased this item after Helene because we were without power for over a week. Looked for a reputable named generator. After searching online saw this Westiinghouse generator and with the features and sturdiness of this product, was above my expectations. Dual fuel and remote start- did not disappoint. Have already used it for ice storm. Works like a charm the WGen9500DFc will give you added peace of mind.

MANUALS WHICH WERE EASY TO FOLLOW, ACCESSORIES, ETC. WERE COMPLETE AND TOOK ME FROM CARTON TO RUNNING WITH EASE AND SUPPLIED TOOLS FOR FUTURE SERVICING. AFTER INITIAL RUNNING, IT WAS TESTED OUT FOR ACTUAL SERVICE AND IT PREFORMED BETTER THAN MY EXPECTATIONS FOR SUPPLIED POWER, QUIET RUNNING AND THE REMOTE START/STOP IS A BIG PLUS.

The feature set on this generator for this price point is amazing. It will be able to power my entire house when I have and outage. The ability to swap fuel sources on the fly without shutting down is great. My parents have a dual fuel Champion generator and they need to shut it down in order to swap fuel sources. The remote start is a great feature too. I have my generator hookup out by my shed about 75 feet from my back door. All I need to do is preposition this generator before a storm and when the power goes out I can start it from my back door without even going outside.

Have had the generator for over a month now during a long power outage. Very easy to assemble. Hardest part was putting the oil in which there is a funnel provided and just make sure you pour it in slow. Not an issue at all. Not very loud at all. Was able to run water heater and Pellet Stove while also powering all the 110 outlets in the home including Frig and Freezer. Very happy with the power output.

I bought this generator about a week ago so have not run the unit yet. Four issues out of the box and it is brand new. 1.When I went to install the wheels. The axle for one wheel would not go through the axle bracket because there was a metal burr sticking out. I used a dremel tool with a grinder bit to remove the burr. 2. When I went to install the feet, the one had metal fragments in the threads. A pick was able to remove the fragments. 3. The instructions indicated a remote but it was not in the accessories box as indicated. I found the remote attached to the manual start pull chord. 4. When I went online to register the generator, the submit button did not work. It was necessary to call customer support and they registered the generator. Hopefully the generator works better.

I purchased this generator on 9/26 with an expected delivery date of 10/12—by some miracle it got delivered the day after I purchased it (on 9/27) and Hurricane Ian hit our area on 9/28. We’ve been using it for 3 days now to power most of our house (not the central AC but it could power a window unit if we had one with the rest of our house)—plus in addition to our house we are running the refrigerators of both of our neighbors without any problem! It starts without issue and runs great. Excellent purchase!! We still don’t have power and don’t know when it will be restored but this generator has been fantastic through it all.

Very nice generator. As received there was cosmetic damage on recoil starter cover and air cleaner (dented), remote key-fob was cracked and non-functional. Appeared to be done at factory, box was not damaged. Received very quick response from Westinghouse customer service (email), they sent replacement parts quickly.
